This is also due to the genocidal one child policy. Where famillies were forced to abort their unborn babies by authorities which led to tens or even hundreds of millions of babies been killed off this past 4 decades. So parents who wanted to have a male child only had one chance to get it right, so if the first child was determined to be a girl, they will kill off/abort the child before she was born and try again for a boy in future. This led to a situation where China now has tens of millions more men than women. So these men need wives/girlfriends as well. They can't live their while life without a partner . Reason human trafficking is rampant in China and even affects neighbouring countries where women from neighbouring countries (Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand , Myanmar, North Korea etc are trafficked to China for money. Where there is demand , the market will.always look for ways to meet that demand. So this will continue.

You know nothng about China just eat whatever crap western media feeds you, google "left over" women and have some study, in China relatively it's easier for guys to find girls than the other way around, because in the Chinese culture, it's sociall acceptable for a guy to find a wife one generation younger than him, but for women it's very hard to find guys younger than them, that's why China has widespread "leftover" women problem.

Where do you get the idea that Chinese killed tens of millions or worse hundred of millions of babies ? Nothing but another lie propagated in the Western countries about China. The one child policy is only enforced on Han Chinese living in the cities whereas the policy was widely and readily accepted by the city population becos there were social safety nets there. In the rural areas, couples usually preferred to have at least one boy to carry on the family lineage and take care parents in old age, so couples there would usually not stop having babies until they hit one or two boys. But, if couples ended up having few boys in births the parents would usually not having more babies so like that they can at least have one or two girls. This is the real reason that there are about 20 millions of males more than females in China now.
