According to the latest report prepared by BBC Hindi, S-400 deal between India and Russia has a rider clause which forces Russia to not sell S-400 or similarly superior air defense system to Pakistan . Rider clause could be added in anticipation of Pakistan also demanding similar system from Russia. Pakistan military official told Russian state media last year that Pakistan military was purportedly considering purchasing a number of S-400 units as well.

India signed the much-anticipated deal worth $5.43-billion to buy five Russian S-400 Triumf missile shield systems recently but according to defense analysts close to idrw.org, 5 S-400 system is not sufficient to cover both China and Pakistan, since 3 have to be deployed at Pakistani side to provide all year coverage 24×7 and at least one has a backup system which leaves only one for China sector.

IAF is already interested in the procurement of an additional 5 S-400 system which will cover Both China and Pakistani sector as well as some airspace in central India which have vulnerable facilities and installations of national interests.

DRDO is also working on India’s long-range Air defense Interceptor missiles which will have a range of 250km and will come as handy to supplement S-400 system. Under XRSAM Air Defence Missile system program, DRDO is working on a new missile system which is as capable as S-300 system in terms of its ability to track and take down fast-moving maneuverable aircraft and missile systems.

russian can sale anything for money.. if china buys and india follows.. china can not shop russia. how can india stop russia.,i think laser tach with drones can dismantle the s400

Money talks, bullshit walks. if Pakistan have money and will, we will have it. If Bharat need 10 systems maybe we need 3 or 4.

I don't think these systems will come tomorrow to India, it will take few years. Till then we can discuss deal with Russia and improve economy..

Nuclear submarines are now more crucial then ever for detterence.

Your country is famous for body-line attack fast bowling, thinking about deterrents are like defensive slow off-spin bowling that too outside leg stump :p:

To improve your economy you can enter trade agreements with India, open trade routes and encourage tourism. But to achieve that you need to put Kashmir and support for Kashmir on the back burner too.:azn:

Hey Jack-***, stop posting rubbish on this forum. Your link IDRW.org relates to Indian Defence Research Wing which is a rubbish website run by some unknown idiot. And this is once again Fake news. Unless you have the copy of contract between Russia and India on S-400 which you can post here, you fellows should be ashamed of yourselves for putting non sense propaganda on this website.

Oh please, good relations with India are not necessary for a strong economy nor a good international image. Even if Pakistan was to betray the Kashmiris in their humanitarian struggle, India under its current extremist Hindu government would not back down from its claim over the entire Kashmiri region. If CPEC turns out to truly benefit Pakistan instead of just being a neo-colonial endeavour by China, the tables will eventually turn.

Your country is famous for body-line attack fast bowling, thinking about deterrents are like defensive slow off-spin bowling that too outside leg stump :p:

It's an attacking option which keep enemy in pressure :azn:

I am sure our think tanks will be considering this option more seriously.

As for Kashmir, well we can trade if you come and sit on table, nobody expect Kashmir issue will get resolve in one meeting, of course it will take time.

We will probably go for s-500 later..
Begging doesn't work with Russia. Y'all actually need to pay em hard cash and S500 lol :omghaha:
Probably you could beg the Syrians for their S200s once the war ends or Chinese could give you some soft loans as usual

China claims Arunachal yet Pradesh we don't call them extremist. India claim over entire Kashmir is in Indian constitution since 1950. No government can back down on Kashmir unless constitution is amended accordingly.

Indian government is in no mood to talk untill Pakistan offers Modi something too good to refuse.

Like Hafiz, Masood or at least some small fry like Dawood

Similarly Pakistan need some assurance that you will stick to the table and not run, after you achieve your objectives.. as of now Masood and saeed are just good propaganda tool. They don't help Pakistan in anyways..

This is not something Pakistan don't have any know how. Pakistan already have complete knowledge via China about these system and Pakistan was having enough time to go to for counter attack for that. Now question is that what Pakistan did?
