Enough coal is being produced, but not enough infrastructure for moving it out...
CIL is asking for more wagons from railways and railways are yet to respond.....
We dont have enough power for ourselves. Lets play the "charity" game AFTER resolving our own power issues.
In my state we still have to endure intermittent power cuts.
If i take them all together, it comes around to at least 45 minutes of power cut per day.
Good job
Please make country a power surplus country, so that every village and every industry gets 24 hr electricity
Those powercuts are because of problems in transmissions, not exactly shortage of output.
May be we can help our neighbors....as a good will gesture till they build their own capacity...
Are you seriously suggesting that India has "adequate " power ?

It's good to see it increasing but India's per capita energy consumption is just 18 million BTUs (vs Pakistann's 15 million BTUs). It is still very low when compared with China's 68 million BTUs and Malaysia's 97 million BTUs and the world average of 70 million BTUs.

Every village gets subsidized or free power, resulting in net loss in revenue. India being an agrarian society have to be burdened by this, but the day the village folk start paying for the usage of power will be the day India has plentiful power output.

Dear o dear, we give aid to African nations and Afghanistan, where millions sleep hungry everyday in our country...your own government gave $500 million to Afghanistan in the time you need the funds most. Atleast i expected understanding of diplomacy from you. Such measures can ease off tension between our country...just a suggestion.....but nevermind...be happy with your problems....first help yourself please
