Agni is a missile, just like polaris is Not used for satellite launch, it cant be.
Besides, india have very sucdssful rockets. pslv has a record 16 successful flights.

That speaks volumes abou isro's success.

they have payload capacity of 4 tons
re-entry tested already
deep space communication system ready

to make the flight sooner they r seeking russian help, post 2020, isro shall field its 100% equipment.
