What's new

India permitted CIA spy planes to use Indian air base to spy china

This shows that India's government are spineless. Anyway, China has spy satellites, meaning that they are constantly spying on India.

Erm, you launched an attack on us, got lured into a trap and got your *** kicked. I am pretty sure that counts as a feign, frontal parry and counter-strike.

Launched an attack? Really? What area , how many of your soldiers got killed in that attacked launched at you guys.

Don't try to research on this . Your CCCP has classified these things and you have been brainwahsed.

You have lost a brother in the process. Your past is going to ALWAYS haunt you GUYS.

nothing new in this ,we all know india is America lap dog and backstabbing all of her neighbours from time to time

Looking back at the history we all know who is the Benedict Arnold of Communist bloc and became American lap dog hastening the collapse of the communist bloc across the world and it is not India.

And India does not owe her neighbours anything - she will kick butt if they are in the wrong and will be good if they are good with India.

not only this but CIA agents books say USAF C-130s fly from indian air bases and drop weapons for Tibet fighters against china :)

read it

Defiance against Chinese oppression has been a defining characteristic of Tibetan life for more than four decades, symbolized most visibly by the much revered Dalai Lama. But the story of Tibetan resistance weaves a far richer tapestry than anyone might have imagined.

In this book, Kenneth Conboy and James Morrison reveal how America's Central Intelligence Agency encouraged Tibet's revolt against China, and eventually came to control its fledgling resistance movement. They provide the first comprehensive, as well as most compelling account of this little known agency enterprise.

The CIA's Secret War in Tibet takes you from training camps in the Colorado Rockies to the scene of clandestine operations in the Himalayas, and subsequent initiation of one of the most remote covert campaigns of the Cold War.

Conboy and Morrison provide previously unreported details about secret missions undertaken in extraordinarily harsh conditions. Their book greatly expands on previous memoirs by CIA officials by putting virtually every major agency participant on record with details of clandestine operations. It also calls as witnesses the people who managed and fought in the program, including Tibetan and Nepalese agents, and even mission aircrews.

As the movement for Tibetan liberation continues to attract international support, Tibet's status remains a contentious issue in both Washington and Beijing. This book takes readers inside a covert war fought with Tibetan blood and U.S. sponsorship and allows us to better understand the true nature of that controversy.

As regards your contention that USAF C-130s fly from indian air bases and drop weapons for Tibet fighters against china is totally baseless! Covert CIA ops in Tibet ended in 1967.

Well, there is certainly a lot less Chinese soldiers that got killed in the conflict and that has a lot more to do with the incompetency of the India army than anything else.

Actually, there are sufficient records that showed continued incursions of India force into the region for more than a decade leading up to the 1962 conflict. 1962 is simply good time for us to hit back, so we laid a big enough trap because we can do it without interference from USSR and US.

Please, "don't research this"? If we are actually going to argue legitimate issues, you bet I am going to do research on the problem----from both sides as well.

Oh!come on!! we have deployed hot weather baloons near Tibet. Didn't you know?

I was alarmed, I thought the article was talking about today. But its talking about 1962...

1962...up to today.

It's already became a public secret, that India willingly to be used by CIA, betrayed China-India friendship. By allowing CIA to be operated in India to create rebellion in Tibet. Then accepted Dalai Lama in support to CIA rather than China.

I also believe that US give a permission, encouragement and support to India for a plan to annex Tibet that triggered Sino-India war back then. Seeing Western media at the time took a side with India, it's not so surprising.

1) You conveniently forget about the "boundary perception". We could also say the same thing. But unlike us, you while repeating " Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai", laid a trap ( as admitted by you) and backstabbed.

2) Yours is a dictatorship govrenment. Ours is a democracy. We all know that dictators behaves in whimsical fashions.

3) You guys are brain -washed about many things. Indo- China boundary is just one of the issues. Your history is full of fictional maps on which you justify boundaries AND very conveniently forget other country history. e.g. Mansoravar Lake is part of Hindu Core religious values and should be part of India ( just an example). Your so callled dotted lines touch the boundary of other countries ( how stupid can one be).
