Oh wait, TTP had been blowing up schools in Swat, claiming that they housed the soldiers, whereas the ratio was; out of a 100 schools that they had destroyed 1 might have had a few soldiers staying overnight.
VCheng justified TTP's actions back then also, no wonder he is doing it again, this time in support of IDF.
I don't know about that (Vcheng's views), but I don't find the idea of hitting a building housing children as acceptable, we condemn naxals or LeT when they hit schools claiming that they were used for logistics and storage by our CAPFs, we expect certain standards from uniformed and professional forces, casualties and even atrocities are part of every war/conflict/campaign. The best armies in the world cannot claim that excesses did not take place when they have gone to war, not one, but there is always a relative notion of the unintended and the deliberate.
If there were Hamas personnel within that school, how long could they have remained holed up? What threat did they project at that moment? Were they setting up over watch, were they placing snipers on the roof while an Israeli chalk plowed through nearby? Eventually the buggers would have come out, if they were active combatants they would get called out as Hamas mobilized for some assault or another. 500 still hasn't told me what target did the IDF think it was hitting on the beach it shelled. I have zilch sympathy for Hamas and support Israel's right to defend itself, I guess I just don't agree with what they think constitutes said right (including rampant construction of settlements).
