It can be the greatest system in the world, but that doesn't mean it will be able to compete commercially. GPS is a well recognized and old brand, this is fairly new, so there may be concerns as to the reliability and long term suppport for it.

Agreed! It will take time to establish itself like all start-ups. Dependability and reliability are the catchwords. Let's see how it pans out.

Yes.. Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System..(IRNASS)
Two satellites ( total 7 planned) already in orbit.. By 2015 mid all satellites will be launched..
