India lets loose more water towards Pakistan

LAHORE: There is a very high flood in River Chenab at the point of Head Khanki and Qadirabad, as India released more water towards Pakistan.

The Meteorological Department issued an alert that a flash flood of 900,000 cusecs water will pass through Head Marala this evening.

The overflowing River Chenab wreaked havoc in settled areas around it as hundreds of villages were inundated by floods, destroying ready crops and rendering thousands of people homeless.

The soldiers of Pak Army and rescue teams are shifting the stranded people to safer places.

A flash flood is speeding towards Head Trimo while more than 200 villages have come under water in Gujrat, Hifizabad and Mandi Bahaudding.

The flood from River Chenab has also entered Wazirabad city.

However, the water level was receding in River Neelum, Jehlum and Poonch in Kashmir.

Come on man,the flood water in Kashmir is overflowing from jehlum river and it is 10 feet above danger mark,ofcourse this water will spillover into Pakistan.I don't see any delibrate attempt by India to cause floods in Pakistan,atleast for now.By the way there are around 150 casualties in J&K due to floods past couple of days.

First they say - Don't Build Dams in Kashmir - Now when we are releasing water out of the very same dams - then again they say it's India's Water Terrorism!

PS on a serious note - India is not responsible for the lack of infrastructure on the other side of the border which can very well prevent such speculated scenarios! Allah helps those who helps themselves!

now seriously,make Dams if you've to protect Pakistan from flooding in each rainy season.every summer,you guys complain that there is less water than needed and in every Rainy season,you guys complain India is intentionally flooding Pakistan.shouldn't you guys make more dams so that you could store more waters and use it when needed??
