That said, the people of India deserve better leadership and better services from their govt. instead of the cheatery, fraud and dhokeybaaji currently offered.

What high-speed train line is designed and built by the Indians themselves you are talking about here?

Our @UKBengali would love to borrow money from overseas to build a Bullet Train line in BD. He thinks it is development. He was jumping with excitement when Australia wanted to extend $16 billion to build one.

He was shouting, it is great development work. And, many of our delusional posters would claim this is development. When India builds itself, BD posters believe in borrowing money and technology to build one.

I mean the whole line is constructed by L&T and IRCON, I don't think any major Japanese contractor is involved in construction.

And as we compare it to Indonesia, If I am recalling correctly the main contractor was CREC.

The same like you with Japanese, there will be major Japanese constructor as well there, they are not fool and giving charity to India with this projecy.

The main constructor is Indonesian SOE consortium that has more than 50 % stake on the project. The Chinese has meaningful stake as well and they are like Japanese does to you will be the supervisor of the project since they have already been experience on building this. Use your logic please

China SOE is investing, they will be part of the operator and gets money from the operation. We dont need to pay back the money they invest, so this investment is risky to China, not really a benefit to them except with many of the trains and railway they bring from China.

Indonesian SOE uses China soft loan as well to finance the project, they need to pay of course gradually.

The reason of China wins over Japan is because this scheme.

Indian steel manufactures is providing high quality steel for the fabrication of super structures for these steel bridges 👏

Chinese Made Steel Is Unsafe. In addition to costing you more money than you could have ever expected, cheap steel is very unsafe to use. Companies in China are producing steel at a faster rate, flooding the market with substandard products. It is produced at a rapid rate and it is not held up to the same quality standards as Japanese steel

LOL... We all know all this ppt and never put into practice. Until I see one real HSR running in India for 300km/h for distance of at least 300km. Then tag me again...
