We keep hearing this stupid Mantra from Indian media and its population that Pakistan is a beggar country, which relies on foreign aid to work.

When in reality Pakistan is not even in top 10 countries in the world, which rely on foreign aid to survive.

Here is the list.

While the 10 biggest donors are as follows:

DAC Members’ Foreign Aid Donations
  1. United States: $34.73 billion
  2. Germany: $25.01 billion
  3. United Kingdom: $18.10 billion
  4. European Union: $16.44 billion
  5. Japan: $11.46 billion
  6. France: $11.33 billion
  7. Italy: $5.86 billion
  8. Sweden: $5.56 billion
  9. Netherlands: $4.96 billion
  10. Canada: $4.30 billion
I think the table put to the rest of the fake Propaganda by the Indians that Pakistan is a beggar country.

As a matter of fact India is officially the biggest beggar in the World, period.

I cannot understand why any sane person would spend their time listening to Indian media tbh. Its a shame that that is the kind of neighborhood we are placed in and we are somehow expected to listen to their news/media. As far as their population, its quite evident that they rely on number of people instead of facts.

maybe modi will perform magic by making cow dung tea and pay off the debt

by the way this is the real reason they are becoming aggressive because failed policies so go for war.

Covid-19 Lockdown: Pakistani Hindu Refugees Feel Abandoned, Struggle to Arrange Food
Many members of the community were engaged in excavation and construction work in the neighbourhood and earnings barely supported their livelihoods.

Pakistani Hindu refugees settled in Bhatti Mines area of South Delhi are struggling to arrange food amidst the lockdown. The severity of the crisis could be gauged from the claims of the community representatives who said that a few families have food stock sufficient for two days only. Many members of the community were engaged in excavation and construction work in the neighbourhood and earnings barely supported their livelihoods. With work opportunities vanished, the community is solely dependent on the food distributed by non-government organisations and self help groups.

Talking to NewsClick, Kailash Kumar, a daily wage worker recalled his journey and said, “I came from Sindh province of Pakistan in 2015 because we were subjected to religious persecution. Here, I used to work as a labourer in the locality where contractors would take us to the construction sites and pay us in the evening. I have four children to feed, but I am left with only days of ration. Even though the nearest school is only 500 metre away where food is getting distributed, we cannot go because the police could beat us. I am living in a rented house and need to pay Rs 2,500 per month. The landlord understands our problem and has deferred the rent now. But what to do about the food?” Kumar broke down and added, “It is worse than the Pakistan days. At least I was getting food there. We will die from hunger. I came here with the expectation that we will be treated like equals, but it is not happening.”

Amir Chand, a local grocery shop owner who fled Pakistan in 2014, said that the many members of the community are not literate and do not know how to apply online for ration. He said, “Many families do not have Aadhaar cards, let alone ration cards. I helped people with my stock of ration, but my stock has also depleted. I never thought we would see these days.”

The community had made to the headlines when the Citizenship (Amendment) Act was passed in Lok Sabha a few months back, when Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasised their suffering owing to the religious discrimination.

But the community members think that they have been abandoned to bear the brunt of the lockdown.

The lockdown has only amplified the misery in the lives of the refugee families. The members allege that the children of the community had to struggle legally to access education in schools run by the Delhi government. As per Habitat International Coalition- Housing and Land Rights Network, the area in Bhatti Mines spanning over 125 acres was earmarked for refugees from Pakistan by Sanjay Gandhi in 1970. The area now houses more than 10,000 people. Jawahar Kumar, a community representative, said that the fight for dignity is long and a daunting task. He said, “We hear that the government has arranged food for the people stranded in cities. Why do we not figure in their considerations? Are we less of a human just because we are not voters?”

India gives more aid than it receives
India has quietly transitioned into the role of provider as in the last three years it has given more aid to foreign countries.

Express News Service
NEW DELHI: From one of the highest recipient of multi-lateral development aid, India has quietly transitioned into the role of provider as in the last three years it has given more aid to foreign countries than it has received.

This was informed by Minister of State for External Affairs General VK Singh in a written reply to the Parliament. “India is currently a net donor of foreign aid. In the last three years, India has provided more aid to foreign countries, than it has received,” Singh said in response to a question on Wednesday.

Development Aid to foreign countries not only serves economic objectives but also as a strategic tool. The effort to raise the assistance it has been providing to foreign countries is part of a conscious effort on part of India to commensurate its role as an emerging power where it sees itself as one of the permanent members in the UN Security Council. In the financial year 2015-16 India gave Rs. 7719.65 crores as aid whereas it received Rs. 2,144.77 crore in aid from foreign countries and global banks.

The neighbourhood is the biggest recipient of aid from India in sync with New Delhi’s “Neighbourhood first” policy. Bhutan for years have received the biggest chunk of Indian aid with Rs. 5,368.46 crores in 2015-16, primarily aimed at developing hydro-electric power in the Himalayan Kingdom. In the same financial year, the second largest recipient of the assistance was post-conflict Afghanistan where India has been constructing Parliament building, cricket stadium among other things. It is followed by Sri Lanka where India is undertaking the construction of houses for rehabilitation of Tamil population displaced by nearly three decades long war.

The largest provider of aid to India in 2015-16 was the Global Fund, the international financing organisation that gives aid to fight HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria and other diseases that provided Rs 1477.72 crore. The second largest donor is the European Union. Interestingly, the United Kingdom, the former colonial rulers of India have the balance sheet in negative for the year 2016-17.

Biggest BS ever.

We know that in 2017 India received $4,240.34 millions out of which £2,376.10 was provided by top donor, i.e. USA.

To say that India donated more than it received, with common logic, India should have given over $4.24 billion in aid to other countries.

These are number 28, 29 and 30th donors on the list.
The India is not amongst 30 highest donors of aid in the world. As you can see how much Iceland on number 30 donated.
India could have not donated more than Iceland otherwise it would be in the list.

.
While we welcome the aid none of the aid is given to Indian govt. It's sent to private NGO's who work for Indian poor through various foreign govt grants. More than half of these aids are actually sent to missionaries group who are supposed to work for the poor, but in fact do everything other than serve the poor With the money.

The figure I quoted was of the aid given to the Government of India and not to some private NGO or to the churches.
