What's new

India is looking to sell warships to Egypt and Morocco

Egypt will only buy from EU or Russians with some options from US, i doubt Indians can cut in Morocco might but again its a long shot.

After conspiring with Israel against the economic interests of Egypt, is this offer a joke?

Good that you have observed the same thing we have done in Bangladesh since 1971.

They will try to cut corners in everything.

In Indian manufactured trucks/buses, they used to substitute leaf spring instead of coil springs, carbureted engines instead of fuel injected, third rate Indian steel sheets for bodies rather than high tensile galvanized steel sheets.

They used to call this process "Indianization". Or selling something at absolutely low cost, for which there are kanjoosis clamoring all over India.
Indian truck manufacturers do manufacture trucks with features such as fuel injection engines, OTP lock, Load sensors, and telematics systems for Indian markets and for markets of middle east, southeast asia and Africa.
They don't sell in Bangladesh because no one buys them......*cough *cough Kanjoosis *cough *cough

TATA's Prima trucks were exported to South Korea and are now manufactured within Korea by TATA Daewoo, a subsidiary company of TATA motors

205 ton Electric Dump truck by BEML
Same for everything made in India, little tinpot cars that fold over roofs in a fender-bender situation (killer coffins), third rate assembly quality in cellphones (that crack like a biscuit when applied mild pressure).
Indian Government has made airbags mandatory for all vehicles sold in the country. You better ask your government to do the same.
But, yeah, we Indians too are fed up with tin cans produced by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd..Sales of Maruti Suzuki have dropped in India as more Indians now prefer Tata Motors as their cars are better in safety and build quality.

Both spellings are accepted brother.

ḏu (ذُو‎) means "possessor, master"

faqār (فَقَار‎), means "splitter, differentiatior"

(Arabic: ذُو ٱلْفَقَار‎, romanized: Ḏū-l-Faqār, IPA: [ðuː‿l.faˈqaːr]),

Middle Eastern swords are at times made with a split tip in reference to the weapon. Zulfiqar is a split tip sword.

Your information is the reverse of actual fact.

Tata Prima took the design from Daewoo's truck line. After they bought Daewoo's bankrupt truck line. Tata did not design it. This was the reason for the purchase, to improve Tata's current $hitty desi truck designs. Ditto for Tata's $hitty desi bus designs and the JV with Spanish bus designer/maker Marcopolo and subsequent design purchases.

Some Ashok multi axle and BEML stuff is copied from Czech designs down to the bolts.

Tatra had a JV in India from the seventies. Still does.

Please google BEFORE you post.

Trying to show that India's bheekh mangey market is as advanced as the USA, when the reverse is the case. Tata and AL are desperate to sell a few trucks and buses to the dumb gulf arabs. Even if by attaching Korean and foreign names.

How many god damned Prima's do they sell in India??

We know about India's standards...this is your aukat. See below - how could you forego the "Endeyan" cab and bizarre body design? We have all been to India buddy, we know.

@Atlas bhai, this is the reason our military (and certainly commercial concerns) should never buy anything from Tata and Ashok Leyland.

These companies supply the Indian Army.

Our policy makers should have retaliatory tariffs for all Indian commercial vehicle products. We have plenty of local CV assembly now and should support local manufacture, not just assembly of Indian commercial vehicles using Indian SKD kits.

India can not even make a toilet and yet they compare themselves with China or Russia. They think their Tejas aka toilet seat is better than Russian SU-57 and China's J-20 lol.

Indians are just exploring the possibilities which every country does and there is nothing wrong with it..... Not necessarily these countries will go for it as I already mentioned that they won't buy from India since they have access to the top of the line western warships.... Doesn't Pakistan members talk here about selling JF17 to Arabs when these countries have access to top of the line western fighters....

I hope its not the warship with the crew
Pakistan beware. Morocco and Egypt have no sovereignty and are already protectorates of Israel. They'll probably add India as their new protector and master. lol

Damn, you all just went savage on Indians in this thread, anyways wish Indians the best. It's gonna be a challenge for sure, but good luck.
