Many of adjacent countries have similarities between them in terms of culture but that doesn't make them one. I am very much aware of Sindhi and Punjabi cultures, I found no difference.

and besides KP and FATA, there are A LOT of Pashtuns that live in Punjab alone and they mistakenly get counted as Punjabis in many surveys! So no one is exactly sure about the true amount of Pashtuns in Pakistan but one thing is for sure, Pakistan has more Pashtuns than Afghanistan itself

We are the same, but our point of views are so different that no longer we can agree on anything. Our ego's and thirst to hurt each other has now overshadowed everything else. There is no major difference in how we look, live, interact with our families and friends but the big difference is in our hearts which probably will never be the same. Why would a person envision an Islamic state if he was far from being what we call a devout Muslim???Or was Pakistan never meant to be an Islamic state at all?? But then,why partition???

i think the whole arguement here is flawed. just because bunch of kids said they found no defference between india & pakistan, only by gaining limited exposure to indian culture which happened to be somewhat similar to their own. c'mon.. culture in south india is nothing similar to the one in pakistan in any which way. goan's follow portuguese culture & here everyone is fighting like bunch of monkeys based on a thread, title of which is flawed to start with.

Every area had different faces. A person from UP doesnt look like a south Indian. A marathi doesnt look like a manipurian or Assamese.

All have different culture, infact there are lots of diverse culture.

Oh is it so ? I do not know about the Muhajir card being trumpeted by MQM, but A.Q. Khan definitely feels that he was not a Pakistani, not a Son of Soil and is still a Mohajir. Further i also hear of a Quota System on Mohajirs which bars the talented Urdu Speaking youth from entering into Government Jobs.

So looks like Altaf Hussain and his ilk are not fighting a lost cause after all.
