India is evaluating options beyond dialogue and diplomacy against China

Why has India not done the obvious thing and prevent these troops from being supplied? Surround them and have flights over the area to prevent air drop.

This would force China to be the one that fires the first shot/escalate , or pull back the troops once supplies run out.

Is it a lack of capability or will?
Our forward positions are supplied by heavy trucks escorted by infantry fighting vehicles. We are waiting for the Indians to try to interdict this :)

By the way, we are still waiting for hyperpowa USA to save your allies Japan and Philippines from our bullying ;)

While you are at it, why not move 300 fishing boats also into the effort.

the areas near the ganges are where the lower castes and untouchables live. their lifestyle is not enviable in any way. their death is as important as an animal death.

Is that how you treat people of your country, divide people by caste? Its time for India to eliminate caste and treat all people as equals. Its shameful to regard someone as inferior because of their birth.

Also, the government should prohibit dumping of dead bodies on Ganges river. Why not burn the bodies first and scatter the ashes. This would be more sanitary. I saw pictures of bird eating flesh off dead people on Ganges and its just disgusting.

That would be an act of war since India would be declaring that territory to be Indian territory under Indian jurisdiction.

As it is, even India does not claim that China is in Indian territory, but disputed territory.

If i am India, i will keep in low-profile and work hard for 20 years, act tough towards China until i am becoming stronger than her.

Too bad India doesn't understand the proper strategy.

ur not..i'll leave it at that.

Really, India wants war? If India really wanted war they would have fought after China refuse to retreat the first time.

Now it is becoming increasing clear that India will fold and any judgement China made is correct.

We the Chinese has been in india's position before and it didn't turn out great.

This giant greedy crocodile China is doing abhorrent to the civilized world and very soon it will face the ire of world opinion and the aftermath then will be economic disaster by their own making - a karma so to speak.

If I were China.I'd wait another 30 years until our global influence exceeds USA's global influence.China is taking premature steps..Right now<india is not joining USA's camp to contain China.but if China's this attitude continues, then god help China..You neither have influence like SU had in the past or even Russia now have, but yet,you are making some loud noise..hope,you'll pay for that, and I wish,it'll not be India who will punish you for that.I'll hate to see our hard earned diplomatic relation of 20-30 years going into drain for bunch of retarded action.

Indian soldiers could kick them out just like that..we don't have to wait to cut off their supply routes,as there are only around 40 soldiers, while our whole 13 Corps are positioned within 50 kms.but India is trying to find a diplomatic solution.why escalate things when you could find a solution(though I don't believe in this policy..I believe in "Kill them/Kick them out and then formulate policy.enough nuisance already)

By now the reaction of India is surprisingly weak. The first step for India is to cut off all supplies to the intruders.

Is this map not accurate?

Note that India is the aggressor here by erecting a permanent post at Raki Nala in the disputed zone.

hope you've read the article I've posted..and "India is the aggressor"???until sino-India border dispute of that area resolved and that area is handovered it to China(even if it ever happens),its still Indian territory and Its far far away from LAC(hope you know what I've meant).so,India could do whatever it want there.China did the wrong thing by crossing the LAC when a joint mechanism is place to resolve this dispute(even if it is a chinese territory).Noobest comment coming form a Think Tank...

and is that your proof??some random map drawn by some media and you present it as proof??

By erecting a permanent post in the disputed zone, yes, India becomes the aggressor. That is the Chinese claim and I haven't seen any statement from GoI refuting it.

Indian tantrums are always enjoyable.

P.S. Here's a DNA India report

http://www.dnaindia.com/india/18263...territory-refuses-to-pull-back-troops-reports

Beijing has asked New Delhi to dismantle several fortified positions in the so-called disputed territory.
[...]
As per reports, the Indian side refused to accept the Chinese demand and that led to an impasse.
