India Is Building New Toilets Every Second—but Hardly Anyone Is Using Them

.
I was not comparing bro.. Just that it will be a deterrent at least in the cities and can be monitored better.. Education and changing attitudes of the masses will take ages especially in a massive country like India

Btw found this video awesome.. :-)

Probably the first place to implement such measures are to be in Metro cities and then slowly drive it down to smaller cities..... But then the biggest problem is how to educate the people come from outside these cities...... It is going to be difficult but , it is doable....

. .
Problem is not that there aren't enough toilets, the issue people don't feel like using toilets. When they can afford PayTV ,they surely can afford building a toilet.

The point the OP was trying to convey.. Changing the mind set is not easy as building a million toilets.. Something that India could do quite easily

.
Damm these toilets will one day lead to rise in fertilizers cost...

Changing mindset will take more than fines and convincing.

Seen kids shitting on open drains in middle class neighbourhoods and grown *** men pissing at Bus and Railway Stations.:bad:

I'd still think heavy fines as a deterrent is a start.. In the big cities of cause.. The message will spread to the rural migrants as well.. People need to know there will be consequences

Fines would be great, people respond more to power & fear than anything else

First of all, it's amazing how people in this country are allowed to be racist to Indians, just not anyone else. We quietly became the most successful people in the country, but don't take to the streets like other groups whenever someone says something about us.

Have the Chinese Replaced Americans As the Worst Tourists in the World? | VICE United Kingdom

You posted an article from a website that published:

You have no notion of credibility, do you? Low intellect?

Yes, you're the most successful. 53% Indian households defecate in open: World Bank says on World Toilet Day - The Times of India. Focus on your own problem, instead of smearing others.

I could say the same to you.

Here comes another dimwit. Read the content, compare with the article from VICE.com. Misbehaving tourists yes, but there is no sign at Lourve Paris saying do not defecate in Mandarin. VICE.com article was mostly fabricated lies.
I specifically chose that article because it uses the same inflammatory writing style that the article in the original post used.

“There’s a lot of this kind of uncivilized behavior out there,” said Zhang. “Take for example the sign outside the Louvre Museum only in Chinese characters that forbids people from urinating or defecating wherever they want.”

China is starting to get embarrassed about its tourists’ obnoxious behavior abroad – Quartz

Still think otherwise?

You are in no position to call anyone else a dimwit, sorry.
