with disputes with almost all bordering countries in the region terming India a regional leader is only part of Donald Trump Show and not the reality.

for a small country like Bhuttan and Maldives whom India is keeping tab on due to its bullying you might be leader for them but for us you are no more than a hypocrite enemy

Regional power? Definitely yes.

Regional leader? Not yet. I don't think India has demonstrated any appreciable leadership qualities in the region (my opinion). Hopefully the future will be different.

Well, buddy, may i add one more if not the most important criteria for being a true regional/super power which is having the ability to simply firing a few shots and your enemy will end up sh!ting their pants and bow to power of her supremacy, for example, something like this:

In that regards Chinese should consider Japanese as Universal Power considering what they have done to you and you still have not been able to do anything. Unlike you we just gave a little reply in 1967 and 1986 and the result is you are still crying for Arunachal Pradesh.

Yes and we still survived with world war (its not different than a world war were over two dozen world military countries are involved) going on, with a terror mongering country like India at one border with influx of one of biggest numbers of refugees from Afghanistan into our country, with deadliest earthquake in the world and with deadliest floods and with half of the world's hostile intelligence agencies in our backyard.

if it was faced by India you guys would have been crying badly by now.

So lets not compare the two. you had every kind of easy conditions and still your country is reeling under poverty and other such issues which are btw not traits of a regional leader
