What's new

India has requested for six MQ-9 drones from the US at the cost of $600 million.

The US is milking the holy cow out of India. Woah 100$ million per drone?

It includes,
1. Spares
2. Maintenance
3. Drone itself
4. Overhaul
5. Training
6. Infrastructure
7. SATCOM link
8. Ground Stations
9. Repair support
10. The weapons

Doesn’t make sense over here in the US I have to deal with Pajeets and they cry about pricing as if I’m stealing their wife’s jewelry and here they just giving it away.
Absolutely agree with you. Seen a lot of desi guys going crazy on bargaining the moment they see a cab driver from the sub continent.

The USA has 2 interests. 1. Contain China and 2. Profit.

India's interests are 1. Contain China and 2. Acquire hitech know how.

I see this as a win win. USA and Indian interests are growing closer as they should be.

I know, you violated the Agreement with United States for that.

No violation occured and even if it did, no action was taken, so maybe that should give you some lessons for the future about what to reply on for defence. When the shooting starts the agreements go out of the window....

Hmm we were getting wing long 2 48+ for 1-2 million ish a piece + weapons. This was tot thing. So thinking 100 or maybe thousands of Pakistani drones vs a few Indian drones. This will be painful for India!

Yes no action was taken but logically saying that it was against the agreement, rest is between 🇵🇰 and 🇺🇸 to sort out issues.

You are partly right, US will make a profit, India will gain no tech know how, no one will willingly give over any competative advantage. Ever with it's F-21/F-16 offer Lockheed were giving away assembly rights. No joint R&D no IP being passed over.

Fact is even with $8 Billion Rafale purchase and $3 Billion Scorpene purchase India did not get any meaningful transfer of technology.

Yes, here endeth the lesson....

America is divided. China is America's largest trading partner and the reason that both the US and Indian military get more money. They must love each other as only IndoEuropean Greek soldiers do.
The goal of the fascist creatures that infest gov'ts and those who sell arms to gov'ts is to steal and transfer wealth from honest productive people.
It is the story of the bible.

Yes after it lost 35-43 soldiers in galwan and lost black top to Indian army😂

We both know this is fantasy bullshit to ease Indian pain

We are not on a Indian forum where you have to reassure yourselves because of your damaged ego

Let's accept that India has thus far been humilated and defeated and has failed to respond propaganda for the idiot masses aside

I think ONCE AGAIN having China and Turkey in our corner is going to prove very advantageous for us

Between Turkey and China
We will have access to proven platforms at a fraction of the cost
No strings
ToT and support for our own efforts

Wing Loong costs 2 million just for the drone .. compared to 16 million for the Reaper.

But then you get ..what you pay for.

Because you had a role to play in Afghanistan, that’s why they restricted the F-16 usage of pakistan to only counter insurgency ops, they do pose terms and conditions for everything,

Sounds like a made up story of some two bit bollywood journalist. The Americans never placed such conditions on the F-16's.

You dont need air to air missiles to fight terrorists, nor do you need a full avionics suite. They knew exactly what they were selling and what it would be used for.
