Alexander didn't just stumbled upon an empire of mughalism when he approached the indus valley. From Chola to Chandra Gupta to the Mayura till the Maratha to the various kingdoms didn't just tolerated the diversity of India they also represented the mere principals of humans co-existing among many religious factions. If going by some islamo fashists anology the world only existsted around 7th century and we humans were apes rather than descendants of possums.

What about during Mauryan empire? Why do you think it was not united under same culture?

The intellectual bankruptcy of some people amazes me

To my knowledge, there is not single country on this planet that has maintained geographic consistency in terms of territory in the last 2000 years

desperate mod ... lol.. obviously he would realise that it applies to Pak as well.
secondly at some point or the other nations were united. china says that some 1000 years ago some ching ming had a untied china so everything is theirs now. similarly for the last 70 years india has been united and so it should remain this way. also for 4000 out of 5000 years the face islam did not rer its head from Afg to Bangladesh, so I think it you say india was not united then Islam should also be shunned.

What is with all the Indians crying?

Aeronaut simply stated a historical fact. There wasn't even any additional commentary, so how can anyone claim that he is trolling?

Edit the title replacing India with china and you can sing a new song.

The difference is that China as a nation has existed for thousands of years. The borders have not always been the same of course, but the nation existed.

Whereas the concept of India is a relatively new one, named after the Indus River which existed in British India, not in modern India. Today, the Indus River flows almost entirely through Pakistan.

Yet the British Empire named many different people across the planet with the name Indus, not only Indians, but Red Indians, West Indians etc. that also existed within the British Empire.

You are right. Tibet was independent in 500 AD
