Would you quit playing same old record, its getting very annoying. It is disputed land, that's why those things happen. Next joint survey is being done on JAN 4th, 2011 to solve these issues. Hey we can accuse BD of falsify maps too but I wont because I am not "Idune". Get some cold water and drink it and let they survey teams complete the surveys. It is real disgusting to see how a big India steals paddy, water, fish and land from one of the smallest countries in the world. Do not the Indians here think that these acts are deplorable? Why Indians are so greedy? Why they should take advantage of the situation when in 1971, the structure of the East Pakistan Rifles (BDR afterwards) was completely ruined? Yet, the Indians claim themselves as friendly to us. India should show us at least one good example.

Nothing funny here actually the area is very remote and the lacks of proper petrol in those area due small size of our border guard gave the indian chance to did it .

There is no excuse of remote area. BDR seems bit lazy to me. Both Pakistan Army and Indian Army are doing their duties on frozen mountains on high altitude in Siachen.

Not to go off topic but india and pakistan have bases and can only pertol fraction of these remote places at a time. And it takes sometime months for them to re-visit places.

Now for this specific boarder area in Bangladesh it was low wet land and there was not much Bangladeshi inhabitant there. If you consider how BDR was destroyed and their power taken away since Awami regime came to power I dont think anyone can blame BDR for indian fraud and occupation.

It is not a trivial matter. It is a grave issue that BSF has been stealing away our lands that could not be demarcated because of the chaos in our side immediately after the 1971 war of liberation.

Some novice BD guys here want to die for India. But, Indian smiles are poisonous.

Please give us all a break.

The BSF has its personnel drawn from all over India. There are rarely individuals who have an interest in working to falsify maps (why would they do so, anyway? What stops them from moving in and getting Indian farmers to use the land?), enlist the help of farmers, and then in a complicated conspiracy, move those farmers on to the falsely occupied land and start farming those? And why in the first place should they have taken all this trouble over low-lying, presumably water-logged land? If it was impossible for the BDR to post pickets there, how come the BSF and Indian farmers turned up, farming, of all things, in such inhospitable places?

Are you seriously saying that this dates back to 1971? That was 40 years ago; what were the BDR doing until now, sleeping? Or shooting up their own Army's senior officers in Dhaka?
