Dark Lord, please don't compare Indian launch failures. We are here to debate space capabilities. The truth is ISRO didn't dare launch anything near 4 tonnes for a reason. They were afraid it will explode like all previous first launches. And even after they launch 3.2 tonnes, the next few satellites are still going to use Ariane, and yet they shout to the world, they are self reliant after this and it is indigenous. Nobody even knows, how much of the rocket is indigenous. It was only until this launch they are using indigenous lithium batteries, I suspect the new triple junction solar panels are still imported, the transponders too as usual. The just buy and integrate in Ahmadabad and claim it to be indigenous.

No I know as well as everybody here that ISRO has major fails in its belt. I had to post that video to show mirror of reality to brain dead patriots.

The entire chest thumping after only a 4 tonnes class rocket is very shameful behavior. I hear thigs like India is now space power because we made rocket with 80's tech.

And please check out the research results from all the Chang'e missions. Chang'e-2 already probed an asteroid and is still alive testing Chinese deep space comms. You need to open your mind and read more.

Again, why does everybody say India launch is cheapest? I dare say if US lift up the embargo, China would dominate the launch market like how we nearly did back in the mid nineties. Their import content is so high, it is highly doubtful they can compete with China.

I believe Indian and united tech( delta IV) are more expensive than Chinese rockets because of supply chain. But Falcon are even cheaper because of design.

Just think that United Technology, ISRO and China try to build a BMW to get from pint A to point B. ISRO would need to import the parts and assemble them manually. This make ISRO quite expensive even though India has the cheapest labor. Both United Technology and China has a supply chain but because China has bigger industrial base and lower manufacturing cost, China can build it cheaper....

SpaceX is the cheapest because it's building a Volkswagen to go from point A to point B.

If we want to compete with China then compete in education, in cleanliness in women's rights in free health, in workers rights.

GSLV MK1 was so unrealible that isro abondoned it.

GSLV-MK1 - USED RUSSIAN CRYOGENIC ROCKET. That Cryogenic Rocket failed repeatedly.

GSLV MK2 failed constantly until last two three launches.

GSLV-MK2 : Total Flights - 5(FIVE). First Flight dt. 15-Apr-2010 failed.

BUT IT HAS 04(FOUR) "SUCCESSFUL CONSECUTIVE FLIGHTS" on date: 05-Jan-2014; 27-Aug-2015; 8-Sep-2016; 5-May-2017.

DESPITE 04 FOUR "CONSECUTIVE SUCCESSFUL FLIGHTS" WITHIN 03(THREE) YEARS, BUT FOR "MORON" LIKE YOU IT IS CERTAINLY A "FAILURE".

GSLV MK3 is only done 2 flights so give it time it will surly fail too.
