PSLV you mentioned is a joke. Its a toy rocket. Even a missile can achive same payload as PSLV.

ISRO will need Ariane this month. They said they will launch next setelite in Ariane. So please check that before you post. ISRO will need Ariane for many years because communication setelites are 6 to 8 tonns where MK3 can only do 4 tonnes. So yes they need Ariane.

No those were real flights with real payloads.

Isro is not best but also ISRO is not one of best too. ISRO is only above SUPARCO but very very behind other developed nations. ISRO is 40 years behind compared to other countries like China and Russia in space science.

GSLV MK1 was so unrealible that isro abondoned it.

GSLV MK2 failed constantly until last two three launches.

GSLV MK3 is only done 2 flights so give it time it will surly fail too.

Space X can launch satellites cheaper than both India and China. Their space station resupply missions are also cheaper.

Before trolling here, read what your news paper wrote about Indian satellite launch. I know that whole 50 cent gang was surprisingly absent on PDF that day.
And we build launch vehicle to put satellite in orbit and not satellite to match the weight carrying capability of vehicle (China may be doing it) . We had a 3300 KG satellite which we put in orbit.

SpaceX has set a new pricing low based on cost-effective design, vertical integration, and high launch volume. India is a low-cost country for manufacturing, but that's not enough to beat SpaceX's price or cost.

Dark Lord, please don't compare Indian launch failures. We are here to debate space capabilities. The truth is ISRO didn't dare launch anything near 4 tonnes for a reason. They were afraid it will explode like all previous first launches. And even after they launch 3.2 tonnes, the next few satellites are still going to use Ariane, and yet they shout to the world, they are self reliant after this and it is indigenous. Nobody even knows, how much of the rocket is indigenous. It was only until this launch they are using indigenous lithium batteries, I suspect the new triple junction solar panels are still imported, the transponders too as usual. The just buy and integrate in Ahmadabad and claim it to be indigenous.
