Royal Enfield won't do well in the international market unless they come out with some seriously updated products, i mean the tech on these bikes is 1950s era. Jesus.

that is retro look. Even Triumph, HD have that look. In fact all cruisers have that look. A cruiser can not have sportster look (yamaha, honda etc)

RE is epic. RE has risen from the dead.

Like Amul, Brittannia. Bajaj, Voltas or Taj tea, Limca or Bajaj Tempo ... even Chavy anprakash or ... hehe ... Rooh Afzaa!

Some have failed. Don't knock RE. Sensitive issue, just like J&K :-)!

Technically speaking, if they can come so far there's absolutely nothing stopping them from storming the world. Consultants are a dime a dozen to iron out all leftover kinks. Ppl. are crying out for an authentic competitor to HD. RE is older then HD. Japanese or Germany retro bikes are jarringly misfit.

The brand is strong enough that they can quietly outsource sub assemblies and focus on final integration and testing. Why bother with the rest. Mgmt. wise Siddharth's Eicher can work to revive other iconic Indian brands like JAWA. Big market in C IS countries. Rajdoot, Bollowood Famous Bobby, BSA, Standard Rover ... brands retain resonance.

Never forget Modi's Make-in-India makes manufacturing imperative with cheap funds, land skills training etc. Just you analyze the bumper budget.

The only prospective competitor to both HD and RE in the future maybe Russian UraL.

The world's big enuff 4 all 3.
