Good stadium. Bad approach. The approach road seems too narrow for a major stadium. Getting in and out after a major event will be a nightmare. This has been a problem with almost all infrastructure projects in India. Govt. need to start thinking holistically about such projects.

No, its a 4 lane road with 5 meter foot path and is more than enough for a stadium.It was a kerala university property and getting land not an easy job.The stadium is built as per the guide lines of ICC and FIFA standards.It will have facilities to accommodate indoor sport facilities like basketball, volleyball, table tennis and handball. Olympic-size swimming pool with aquatic centre too will be constructed.
