Nice one mate! So Bombardier lost out to a Japanese company?

+apparenly the Corridor is AHEAD of schedule! This project is going to have HUGE ramifications and is going to add to GDP for sure!

HUGE!

Long term, population shift is the idea. Cheap land too.
Bombay-Delhi corridor area is sparsely populated, can absorb industry and population.
Rajasthan, Guj. & MP are India's Balochistan, minus the 'issues'.

Every time I watch a western doc or read a western article in India they always make the comment about India's "crumbling infrastructure"- are measures being taken to counter this?

you can see that in the video btw India's infra in Electricity Generation and Transportation, Intra-City roads , housing and water supply and Railways is literally crumbling. The good aspects of Indian infra are AIrports, Ports( still much more scope to improve though) and all.
