Then why did you ceasefire? You hadn't even reached the edge of your claims yet.

You came, you saw, you kicked the arse by outnumbering us 8:1, and retreated before the reinforcements came. While I have no doubt China did fare better than us in the war, leadership errors caused you to fail to capture anything significant other than Aksai Chin.

Yeah, we came, we saw and we achieve our only one purpose- just to tell Nehru we don't buy his 'forward police'.

It was absurd to think Chinese troops can hold and defend Southern Tibet for long if they would've occupy it. China would've to move at least a million troops with tanks and 3 months worth of provisions through the impassable Himalayas in primitive roads, plus fighter jets too. And even that might not be enough considering we were in enemy territories.

It was a wise withdrawal. We simply didn't try to achieve the unachievable, that was all.

The dispute was over Aksai Chin and NEFA, over the allegedly illegal Mc Mahon Line. If you started a war and beat an 8:1 outnumbered army just to teach Nehru a lesson, and then withdrew, then it was a sad waste of the lives of the 700 or so Chinese troops and 1400 Indian troops that died.

Like yrs in Kargil 1999:rofl:

And like yours is in 1965. :azn:

Moral of the story: Never start a d*** measuring contest with an Indian troll. We'll have the final word.

We weren't there to teach Nehru a lesson for it was not our job to teach a head of another state a lesson. Our purpose was to tell him what we were capable of if he continued his 'forward policy' in our direction. Unfortunately many lives were lost on both sides because of that but then we bought a half century of peace and still continuing, in which it might've been worst, a lot worst, if we didn't give him that message.

Wars are bad but sometimes they are necessary to attain a long term peace. Peace.

Well yeah you're correct there. The 1962 War has soured the relations, but it has kept the place from erupting into a huge war ridden wasteland.

If your commies want to have it that way, we're more than ready.

Let's see.

We will not start the war but we will definitely finish it.
 But in 1962 it was the exact opposite. You army tried a forward policy but ended up back in the Assam valley!

But we didn't have compassion when we invaded China during the Opium Wars.

Here I replied to you on another thread.

Did you read the last paragraph of the book The Opium Wars: The Addiction of One Empire and the Corruption of Another by William Travis Hanes, Frank Sanello on page 93 I asked you to read?

There are more books which say the same. What do you think of it?
That's nothing compared to what conquerors like Timur, Ghazi and Babur did to the indigenous hindu population of the subcontinent!

india has two official languages: English and hindi. The former comes from its 200 year subjugation to the Anglos. The latter is a Persian-Turkish language that comes from its 800 year subjugation to the Central Asian conquerors.

Hahahaha yes u remind us of a War that we are proud to have won but people dont accept bcoz u wanna give something to yr new generations to be happy abt their history by twisting the facts of history in yr favour to give them confidence:lol:
But truth is truth n it will remain like that no matter how much u try to hide LOL the whole world knows that the Indians were those who had crossed the border without declaration of war n the most funny thing is that yr General who was leading the attack he said that we will start attack in night 3am n we will have our Morning Breakfast at Lahore Gymkhana:rofl: that night our Great Shaheed Maj Aziz Bhatti was patrolling with his small brigade n that manage to stop yr advance for 5hrs alone n yr mammoth army couldnt do much against him n small no of ppl under his command n u claim to b victorious:rofl:

Definatly :D

sounds India want to put another forward policy

The lake is so beautiful. Why can't it be declared "no mans' territory" and just be accessible to people from both sides of the border with a joint coast guard sort of patrol to prevent criminal activity ? Oh yeah wait, this is Asia we are talking about where two nations will slaughter each other for a piece of useless sandy desert or a piece of ice glacier where their troops need oxygen tanks to survive. Me bad. Me forgot which continent this is happening at.

We have discussed this before, neither side gained any territory. It only prolonged the strenous "peace" we have there.

Looting a country is better than having it's youngsters addicted to drugs.

Hindi is derived from Sanskrit. What you are talking about is Urdu.

War is definitely not the right way to attain it!!

Peace between India and China would have long been attained even after 1962 war, had China left its anti India policy!! I don't know what your arrogant CCP government has in mind but China is in big trouble by alienating almost every neighboring nation and whenever told you Chinese say we have this much billion $$$ of trade with them they won't risk it. F**k trade, I would survive with a costly Nokia phone instead of cheap ZTE mobile whenever it comes about our Nation's pride.

And now many nations like US, UK, Japan and India have started to put tab on Chinese products, very soon this export based economy is going to burst!!:butcher:

May be there will a day when all the nation will make a joint strike on this axis of evil and teach them a good lesson as they had been supposedly teaching lessons to weaker countries!!:coffee:

Their created hate was the basic reason 4 our divide, always remember that.
