India deploys 36,000 extra troops on Chinese border

^^ Exactly, lets move on. None of the Chinese members opinions on this forum is of any consequence. Let them think what they want. Who cares. India has to do everything in its power to protect its sovereignty. I am pretty sure its defensive in nature..All this talk about India is preparing to attack is just plain BS. India can ill afford to attack China..

How is it unprecedented when India too has lifted millions out of poverty in a few decades? Of course, we did not have to resort to means like genocide through the Cultural Revolution or the Great Leap Forward to achieve this but then we all have our ways.

As I said, let's see if China can actually do something about this troop movement.

Wow, good news, 36000 troops to deploy on Chinese border=more "target practise" for PLA, thanks in advance.

What a shameless claim, spreading baseless face saving propaganda only make you look like a fool, millions out of poverty? how many million? 1, 2, 3?
Now face the hard cold facts and claw back to your poverty plaque h... hole please. :D

However, it appears that much of the poverty reduction in the last couple of decades almost exclusively comes from China:

•China’s poverty rate fell from 85% to 15.9%, or by over 600 million people
•China accounts for nearly all the world’s reduction in poverty
•Excluding China, poverty fell only by around 10%

Have some "self-respect" and stop shooting your lies please.

Oh btw, we Chinese believe in "actions" not some cheap chest thumping big "words" we already proved our domination against you Indians since1962 till now, so being a man with a "sore" a@s, its Indians turn to show the world what you make of, right? please come for your "sweet revenge" to reclaim some lost "dignity" if you still have any. :partay:
Man, i never thought anyone will surrender with a "big smile" on his face, especially from an officicer in charge during a war:tup: Enjoy:tup:

And last time I heard the Chinese have deployed 32 of their Xianglong UCAV attack variants to Tibet.

Get over it. Countries sometimes need a little flexing.

indian telling Chinese that China is incapable of doing anything....

I am simply at a loss for words.........

even if it were true (which it sure as all hell isnt), it seems Chinese did good job of getting indians on edge and increasingly wary and paranoid

what a stupid post

You are absolutely right.

those 36,000 troops can go fight the naxal and other insurgents operating along the red corridor.......movement of these troops to Chinese border will be sure to increase tensions

that's between those countries; it's outside our locus of control. But I can say that it will prove to be a failed strategy since China will likely be able to mobilize much faster and more efficiently, in the interests of responding in kind

typical indian language towards the regional countries..........I just can't wait to see Chinese response

Our state police and CRPF are enough to deal with the Naxals... we don't need the army to be deployed to deal with them. So please keep the suggestion to yourself. When we will feel the need for the Army to get involved, we might consider your suggestion.

China will ignore it for now.

The tipping point will come when Indians can work itself up to actually coming across as a real danger. Whether they can reach this point without China actually participating the escalation process is going to depend on how deluded Indian thinking gets.

Apparently in India, it only takes one to tango.

See .. a part of the troop deployment strategy by the Indian army is to familiarize the troops with the terrain and the conditions of the locality. My brother is in the Army and he gets moved around the border locations every couple of years and he tells that the very reason why the Army rotates the personel is to keep the troops familiar with the terrain and the logistics required to defend the borders.

Each border front is a unique challenge for India and the rotation keeps then adaptive and alert to the situations that they might have to deal with in the event of a war.

As much as I appreciate your opinion that China will ignore it now, we all know that troop mobilization is a part of the preparedness for a country's army. I see no reason why anyone will feel threatened by a small scale troop movement. It is called preparedness as I mentioned in my previous post.

Lets get real... does anyone really think that India can fight a war with China with just 36000 troops?... I don;t think it is remotely possible. See the number of troops deployed in the Kashmir front just to counter the Pakistani threat. If India were serious I would want to see close to a million troops in this area to even remotely have a chance to counter China. Chill guys.

Tipping point to come. As the retired U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense James Clad had noted during his time managing US-Indian FA, the top defence U's and staff colleges in India are increasing focusing their literature on how to fight China and India's assets deployment will reflect that overtime. He also believe that though the possibility of China and India going war is minor right now, it is increasing given India's actions and it's fatalism about being China's rival.

His words not mine.

Not sure why GOI deploying troops in it's own territory makes so much hue and cry. Kind of puzzled by Mr Abu Zolfiqar's(which kind of becoming a perpetual habit with time) argument as well! If India think China is incapable of anything, what's the need of deploying the troops to border? :s
