I am for strong opposition to ensure some check on the ruling party which is the BJP. This is because the proverb about absolute power corrupts........
There need not be any party system at all. Neither one party, two party or multi-party. And no drama, demagoguery and money-spending towards having five-yearly elections. Tell me, in a two party system for example, one party wins and the self-appointed leaders of that party will implement the party policies for the next five years. If the losing party had good ideas it won't be able to implement them until they again try after five years. Even then there is no guarantee that its vote share will get it into power. Every five years there is a unnecessary quarrel for votes. Take USA which is mostly a two-party system. A two party dictatorship. There is no real difference between the two. Each of these two parties' governments when in power don't attempt to remove real human issues like homelessness and lack of affordable healthcare and instead spend that money and other resources - hundreds of billions of dollars - each year on maintaining a war-mongering military. The funny thing is that in 2011 USA, which doesn't have free and universal healthcare, invaded Libya which had free and universal healthcare and free housing. And True Democracy.
All in all, citizens in every country should be enabled to govern themselves directly and under the guidance of progressive socialism. This is real democracy, true democracy. This was how it was in Libya until 2011 and is in Venezuela now. Please read post# 55 again.
It is same Indian population that stood up against the British rule
More complicated than that. Some of that population participated in employment with the British and did tragic deeds like the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Many from that same population discriminated against the Dalits which led to Dalit leader Ambedkar to renounce Hinduism and adopt Buddhism along with 365,000 of his followers.
The same population brought Kejriwal from nowhere to Chief Ministership.
I am sure that some, or a lot, of that same population abandoned Kejriwal and voted for the BJP. Fickle minded this population was. That is why the political system should be replaced with Direct Democracy that is guided by Socialism, or better, Communism.
My take is that the high office holders in Communist parties have enough to sustain their own cushy livelihood. I don’t see them doing anything.
If you watch clips from Delhi, Maharashtra and Karnataka you will see the red communist flags.
One communist leader from WB, Hannan Mollah, has been for years been leading a farmers collective called All India Kisan Sabha and has been very visible in the Delhi protests.
These are not the basic values I was talking about. These are obviously timeless and would remain relevant always.
Of course.
I was talking about communist belief against capitalism and endeavour for absolute opposite of that.
India is an extremely capitalist society. Capitalism also introduces unnecessary competition. Hence very avoidable tragedies like farmer suicides, student suicides, honor killings, most murders, most violence etc.
Communism seeks to remove social and economic disparity and unnecessary competition.
Because of China deviating from Communism there are existences like extremely rich Chinese and then there are the poor Chinese who cannot afford healthcare in China and thus come to India to avail of cheaper ( for them ) the Indian medical tourism industry.
Indian parties were for absolute communism kind of practice.
I think I have already informed you that some years ago I met two leaders of two different communist parties. I will met them again and present to them my suggestions, including my economic system proposal and making prominent the Libyan political system.
That too was half baked since there is nothing like democracy in that ideology.
True Democracy i.e. the "Withering away of the State" or people ruling themselves directly is brought by Communism. Please read this post again from the top once more and please read the links in post# 55.
