why India cannot practise in its own territory? armed forces cannot just sit idle they need to prepare for war as if its real war....sometimes its so intense that soldiers get injured in exercise or maybe lose their lives, these exercises gauge the knowledge and preparedness of the units....

It is routine of both militaries to excercise in Dec -jan every year. Don't worry. We also conducting in bahawalpur.

India has the resources to cause firestorm on the pak borders and cities just using conventional weapons there cities are right on the borders it's easily targeted without even using air power
