Did you read History or not??? After 1947 independence both India and Pakistan were still DOMINION of British Govt. That means King George V was still officially KING of both India and Pakistan. So, this yellow map of Kashmir was done by British Govt. because India was still ruled by Govt. of India Act. 1935.

Now look at this Map of Kashmir on 1909 published by Oxford University Press. This map clearly show Akshai Chin is part of India.

King George V was king of India till 25th January 1950. After Indepence India was govorned by Govt. of India Act. 1935 and Indian Independence Act. 1947. On 26th January 1950 the constitution of India replaced these two act. Similarly, Pakistan was ruled by this two act. until March 1956.

India did not unilaterally re-draw anything. India just stick to year 1909 map drawn by British Govt.
