Tata is worlds second largest bus manufacturer,fourth largest truck manufacturer and 18th largest car manufacture...And they can do their own design &,R&D unlike you know who.

What we need is to give defence PSUs a free hand and corporatize them. DRDO's revenues must be internalized and instead of being given to government treasuries, retained in the companies so that it can be reinvested into expansion.

MOD should only classify their requirements and set any measures that don't leak any critical technology or sensitive information. That's all.

CCS should be disbanded and defence programs should directly be led by the respective chiefs of the different arms of the Indian triservices. The commanders must be given full autonomy to pursue the project's objectives as THEY see fit rather than what an unfamiliar, civilian puppet who has no idea of national military needs, sees.
