Which Chinese media, the Taiwanese one? All your fake source and fake lies. One thing for sure, Chinese jet engine works well and exported while Kaveri can only eat dirt. :enjoy:

If I give Chinese source than?

If I give Chinese source than?
I can give your Chinese sources

J-20 fighter's Engine chief designer: In the past, China's engine making industries were so far behind the west, copying was the only thing we can do, so whatever they made, we would try to copy. But now, we no longer pay attention to what they are doing, we are good enough and we just pursue better performance of our own engines to suit our needs of making Chinese airforce the top notch fighting force in the world.

Surya 1 and his brother surdshan or something are truly gems.

Lol. Whoever gave you the pic made a fool of you.

This is the standard of posting here by trolls, lol. The picture this gentleman has supplied, is a picture for the GRIPEN aircraft of Sweden. 😂 😂 😂

Tejas MK 2 is even more indigenised than Tejas MK1A, with the pod based sensors etc now internal and indigenous. And this is for Tejas MK1-

Probably half and half

Foreign Components In Tejas

Even though HAL Tejas is India’s indigenous fighter jet, there are many foreign components in it. At present 50 to 65% of components of the Tejas are indigenous and the rest have been imported from foreign companies.

Originally, India had planned to incorporate its homegrown Kaveri engine, developed by the state-run DRDO. However, the engine was deemed ineffective with respect to the Tejas’s requirement.

Then, India reportedly received orders of assistance from Russia, France, the US, and the UK. Out of these, India picked the US-made GE F404 engine.

Countries such as France, Israel, and Sweden had expressed their interest in providing the radar as well as the electronic warfare equipment for the Tejas. India decided to acquire the ELM-2052 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars and ELL-8222WB electronic warfare (EW) suites from Elta Systems, a subsidiary of the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The aircraft also incorporates parts developed by British companies. It was reported that three core components of the HAL Tejas were of British origin. This included the Quartz nose cone (Radome) along with the air-to-air refueling probe manufactured by Cobham, a British company.

The LCA Tejas is also equipped with a Mark 16 IN16G zero/zero ejection seat which has been developed by Martin Baker, another British company.

A Major Export Hurdle

These foreign components have surely provided the Tejas with advanced capabilities with respect to its competitors across the globe. However, they do have a downside.

The dependence on foreign components means that India can not independently export its Tejas fighter jet to any country. The countries which have contributed to the development of the Tejas may disapprove of its sale to any of their rival countries.

Lol. Again, the fact that you take European Times as a reliable source shows how little you know about Aviation. And you seem to have ignored the fact that the plane you were bashing for being "imported" is Swedish plane. 😂

If you see European times as reliable, have a few other gems from ET :-

And even by your figures, only 35% imported (including sensors, radar etc which are bing replaced in Tejas MK2) is an extremely good figure and by no means an "imported plane".

Never happened lol
LMAO. Right because you got your *** kicked?

"In 1974, Alvi shot down the Israeli Air Force's Mirage III over the dogfight took place in Golan Heights in Syria, and was honored for his bravery with gallantry war-time medals by Syrian and Pakistan government."

"During the 1967 Arab Israel war, Flight Lieutenant Saiful Azam shot down a Dassault Mystère IV a supersonic aircraft belonging to the Israeli Air Force while flying a Hawker Hunter. A day later, he was shifted to an Iraqi airbase where he shot down a Vautour IIA and Dassault Mirage III belonging to the Israeli Air Force, all these fighter aircraft shot down only in two missions this remains the highest shooting record of Israeli Air Force aircraft till today".

:pakistan:

How many tejas have you guys produced so far after all these years, has your mk2 even flew yet?

Indian Airforce is rated higher than China lol

China manufacturing Stealth Combat fighters, the highest number of Migs in inventory, maintain massive number of bombers, and much stronger firepower compare with the Indian airforce who is dependent on France (for Rafale), Russia (for Sukois/migs even for the parts lol) and US (for C130, Posiden, C17 Global Master, Chinook & Apache), failed to produce single credible platform till date except that samosa (rejected by its own airforce lol), got banged in the broad daylight from 7 times smaller airforce Pakistan in front of the entire world in 2019, lost CDS along with 10+ crashes last year.... just imagine who is rated India 3rd
