New Delhi: The year 2021 has turned out to be one of the bloodiest for India’s military aviation, with 11 crashes resulting in 22 deaths, including that of the country’s first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat.

The total number of crashes this year is more than twice the number witnessed in 2020. Last year saw five crashes, which led to the deaths of two pilots.

By the same logic, do you want to accept that same year was bloody for China as many of their commnders in charge of Galwan area fell ill and had to be removed. one died ultimately. Couldn't tolrate cold.

India buys all it's jets, and are now currently looking at the F-18 Superhornet.
China builds its own jets, with fifth generation done they are moving on to sixth.
There is no comparison.

We too are making our own. However, ours are too advance than Chinese so they take some more time.

India overtook China too soon. Real game changing will happen in next 4 to 5 years shen Tejas Mk1A will arrive and Mk2 induction starts. Once AMCA arrives, India will overtake China for any foreseeable future.

Chinese are so brain washed by CPC that they believe that how can Chinese Air force be behind India? The want to be on top with J (junk) series of aircrafts with 70s and 80s technologies. Game has just begun. India has overtaken China. Withinn few years, Chinese themselves will accept that they can not match India. ORCA, MWF, AMCA are in development in beast mode. Premitive J series will be no match to Indian fighters.
