What's new

India and Pakistan are united by language and history, divided by commerce

Anyway I just knew that the first Pakistani on this thread would be flaming about the Fair & Lovely thing. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea posting this article EjazR. Now that this has been discussed, let's discuss the more important aspects of the article if at all possible.

Again a predictable reply. Your original claim was that no Pakistanis used this product. Now you're going to try tell us that you were only referring to Pakistani men. :coffee:

Can't you read. The indian product's name is "fair and handsome", and I said right no Pakistani uses this ridiculous indian product.

.
Yes just checked out this website. Its all women's products.

We dont have any products like this in Pakistan:

This is purely indian and we dont want this sh!t.

That means you did not read the article.

BTW here's something about the author 'Karin Bulliard'. She looks like this:

She happens to be a staff writer at The Washington Post.

I predicted this one too, trying to get off on a technicality are we? BTW refer to my above link and the article was referring to Fair and lovely in general, fair and handsome (or whatever) is still the same product made by the same company.

he must knw pushto and he must be a muslim two condition for being a pushtoon

And you're the certifying authority of pushtoons the world over I guess.

Please send me your contact details so I could tell me Pushtoon friends to get their 'Genuinr Pushtoon' certificate from you.

On a side note, how much do you charge for each certificate?

.
Oh really?

he must knw pushto and he must be a muslim two condition for being a pushtoon

Sounds like a typical bharati hindu name to me.

Sounds like a typical Pakistani hindu name to me.

Oh no I must be wrong. How could I forget that Pakistani hindus keep muslim names for the fear of standing out in the land of the pure?

'Danish Kaneria'...anyone?

So what? It's so easy for Pakisthani hindus to get an Indian visa, you know. After all, when their own countrymen hate them and don't consider them true Pakistanis, they have only us to look up to.

Oops! I forgot. It's entirely Okay for women to be obsessed with being fair but it's not Okay for men to do the same.

Well if the PAkistani people are willing to spend extra dollars buying Indian products through back channels, then let it be. They are all rich people unlike Indians... so they can spend the extra "rupees" to get access to that... it shouldn't matter for India since they are selling at the regular market price, it is just the people on the other side of the border who have to pay the premium.
