What's new

India and Pakistan are united by language and history, divided by commerce

It could well be beneficial, but we need to move on the political front, and ease tensions for trade to occur, also we have to assuage concerns in the Pakistani business community about that.

The only thing that's missing is the Political interest, your businessman will be more than happy to reap the benefits. :agree:

ohhhh ho very nice thread going . what i can say keep it up hate and trolling.

Man this thread isn't that bad. It took us 5 pages to get past the Fair & Lovely bit and now we're working on dick measuring. I think we'll reach a consensus in the end. :)

I beg to differ, IMO increased trade would only help in easing the political tensions. To be honest I can't say for sure in regards to Pakistani businessman. I was watching a British news report about India-Pak and they said that the Pakistani businessmen are asking for the markets to be opened up so that they can come compete here.

Any luck on finding Pakistan's good sectors which might benefit India? For example: What are your main exports to China. That might help in narrowing it down.

Pakistan has many ethnic groups, but the largest 4 are Punjabis, Pakhtuns, Sindhis, and Baloch. The percentage of Pakhtuns, SIndhis, and Baloch you have in India are irrevelant (combined these ethnic groups make less than 1% of India's population). Punjabis make less than 4% of India's population. More than 95% of India's population are nothing like Pakistan's major ethnic groups. Even if you take Religion out of this, Pakistanis are different from the vast majority of Indians so I dont know why Indians like Rama Lakshmi say we are united by this and that, we are not united.
I really love this topic. Indians claiming Pakistan and Pakistanis refuting it. If possible I would have started many threads on this but the thread will most probably be deleted. I have to be content with old discussions on this issue.

:yahoo: :bounce: :-) :smitten: :D  :yay: :laughcry: :omghaha:

That is why I said 'vice versa' earlier.

Sir, please, I need your respect. In fact, I am desperate to get it--No only this, I will die if I don't get your respect.

Good good...
I will respect you on one condition. You have to start as many threads as possible on "Pakistanis are not Bhartis" topic.

PLEASE. PLEASE. I REQUEST.
