Constructing huge mosques and putting loudspeaker on that is million time costlier than this. Why do not you advise this to those does that. Ask them to spend the money on upliftment of Muslims. They need that most. You reserve the right to spend billions on mosque, You want to reserve the right of disturbing all by shouting from Mikes and question us for simply distributing coconut to people?

no, they are not happy.

No they are happy. They do not kill each other. They do not behead people on the name of religion. They do hard work fo feed their stomoch and live a simple but good life.

so what is the point of it all??

Point is that what you wrote is wrong. Worship do not stop earthquake. Worship of god is to live a spiritually enlighten and moral life with a faith in almighty. Live and let live.

they are poor because of wrong political system... if you replace that system, economic/social miseries disappear.

And what is that system. If you refer to what I guise, they were baggers before the oil was discovered in the area. They used to come to India and Pakistan (That day part of India) to earn their likelihood. At least advise this to Indian Muslims so that they may go rich.

i have been long saying that muslims don't need mosques for praying... and various muslim leaders, like jamal abdul nasser, had banned loudspeakers in mosques, though not in india... for the interim in india, i suggest sms alert for azaan calls ( call to prayer ) and no praying on loudspeaker during festival prayers or friday prayers.

these questions will arise in the minds of any person of sensibility...

you propagate a approx 2900 year old system of mysticism ( prayer, festivals, superstition, blind hope in divinity, precise names and numbers of gods etc )... did all that idolating and praying help the nepal temples save themselves or the people who go there daily?? approx 10,000 people may have died in a instant in a small country full of temples.

maybe four days ago was a thread where many indians members condemned the great tipu sultan just because he broke some temples... the nepal earthquake has brought down many temples, so will these indian members now insult the earthquake??

sadly, this system is present in other cultures as well, and especially in various forms throughout south asia.

I cant comment on Hindu belief. But generally speaking all beliefs are not there to protect one from death or destruction. I personally feel beliefs are way of mediation which is indeed need of every human since in life we run after materialistic world so much that we failed to give some time to our own inner-self. As far as other things linked to religions well as they say dunya main sab say ziada dharan bikta ha
