islam doesn't make much fuss about divinity as do other older religions... it is seen in the shahada ( credo of islam ), "there is not god but ( the one ) god and muhammad is ( just ) his messenger"... islam acknowledges that many prophets were present before prophet muhammad, especially prophet isa.

islam is the closet to atheism than any of the older religions... it concentrates on practically simplifying the present living life than talking about "paap and punya"... only sikhism comes close in the islami focus on spirituality rather than plain mysticism.

when there are the occassional fools like the iran mullahs declaring in 2003 that the earthquake there happened because of ladies wearing "immodest clothing", they are ridiculed first by muslims.

In short, even Islam *failed* to prevent natural calamities, just like Hinduism or any other religion.......but you have *failed* to criticize Islam and Allah when natural calamities of humongous scale happened in Islamic countries, like the way you are repeatedly criticizing Hinduism and Lord Shiva here, that too in a completely unrelated thread.

yuri gagarin went to space in 1961... the first human in space... india and its culturally-embedded worship of money hasn't produced much innovation, let alone send a human to space.

Yuri Gagarin went to space because socialist USSR spent an humongous amount of sum every year on weapons development and space program with military purpose in mind, communist China is also doing the same, and here you are criticizing India for spending a miniscule amount of its total budget on weapons. a billion+ of us Indians, citizens of the modern day nation state and republic of India/Hindustan/Bharat should put religion aside for now and use our collective leverage to better our society through economic upliftment.

leftist policies for a dirt poor country like ours only means slow death in the current world order, unfortunately we cant all be like some of the Scandinavian countries who seem to have found a really good balance with a high tax regime and an even higher standard of living in a happy welfare state for all.. can not work for us.

until 2012 was the huge income of the "software and services" industry, earned over the previous 15 years at least... wasn't this income making indian governments declare india as "economic superpower" and what not??

it is not about money but all about dedicating full effort towards scientific social and technological development, disregarding or abolishing any traditional custom that goes against the new social order... but for that, there has to be a new social order.

no need to laugh when the libyan and syrian invasions, and the venezuelan regime-change attempts, with a few hundred thousand people killed just since 2011, have entirely been about capitalism vs socialism... you are not looking carefully at the global effects of these events.

2017 will bring the 100th anniversary of the russian revolution and whole world will celebrate and new effort will shape, including in india, towards taking humanity towards the ideal of the communist humanity... i will be doing my bit.

you can look at my posts in the "farmer commits suicide" thread from just a few days back, as to my contribution ( mostly derived from the libyan example ) as to how immediately not only farmer suicides can be disappeared but also it will economically uplift every section of society.

the approach must be to simplify social policies and not to complicate them through unnnecessary false science called capitalism.
