Its not worth discussing. the quality of the Indian research is bad except in some research institutes. I cant comment abt China coz i have not seen it myself but from what i have heard they are far ahead in most areas. Moreover Chinese researchers are very dedicated to their research which lacks in India.

BS. I have had the privilege to work in one of the best institutions in India which attracts students from all over the country as well as many western countries. And now, comparing to what I experienced there in India (including contacts at other research institutes) and here in US, I can confidently say that most of the researchers are at par with their international counterparts. As for the Chinese researchers, my Boss is an editor for a journal. I get to read some manuscripts and I have to say this, most of these submitted from China are substandard. Period.

China paper quantity wise almost 3 times (2.85) more than India papers but difference in PPS is not even 0.5 . So we are smarter than u people .

you will go for Rs50 radio made in china not 400-500 that made in india or other country like america or germany.

China is ahead of us, no doubt about it, that does not mean when Dr Kolman or some forigner says that our papers are quality ones you have to pounce on us and start rediculing others.

May be Chinese have great brains but they surly lag the compasion and a mighty heart to shake hand and say "Keep it up bro, lets have a healty fight for quality and quanity in the international arena".

And for the Indians, lets not start threads that boost our achievements becasuse every time we do show case our talent or achievement some peanut brain comes and redicules the same.
