I can not count how many times I have heard the argument that Muslims are descendants of invaders and of people converted under duress. Now where does one fit this fresh statement? Has this been the standard RSS line for long or is this something blown out of proportions?

This is not a troll thread, although I do feel that this is what it will eventually become. I hope any discussion that is generated stays within bounds of sanity.

The dna testing bit is troll bait. He normally uses that against muslims who say they are not of Indian ancestry, and are "superior" etc.

Anyway the guy is a necessary evil, he does do some useful work, apart from the nutty comment here or there.

Nah, Dr. Swamy is already 74 years old. In 2 years' time he will not be eligible given the criteria set by Mr. Modi of 75 years cut off for ministerial post. He is the guy who made congress swallow dust when he got the court to cancel all 2G licences. He is the guy who has Sonia Gandhi and Rahul lose their sleep now with the National Herald case. He filed the case 2 years ago and then no one in the media was willing to talk about the case.

He got the govt tied up on the Ram Setu project with the court siding with him. He was the guy who got the release of the Nataraja Temple in Chidambaram from the TN govt. A court ruling that paves the way to get all Hindu temples freed up from govt control. He was the guy who got the supreme court to order the restriction on the Italian ambassador from leaving the country in face of refusal of Italy to send the Italian sailors to India. There are many many other cases where his contribution has been invaluable.

There are very few people who have done as much or given as much to India as Dr. Swamy.

While the statement is idiotic in itself, but it is not in contradiction to the bold part. Converting under duress does not alter the DNA. Does it?

I am not saying that he is technically incorrect or correct - that is besides the point. The very idea of doing DNA tests just to satiate egos is a mark of deep seated inferiority complex. I can't support it. Certainly not after I bashed shan so many times for it.
