Rajasthan is poor, the government refuses to acknowledge it but actively helps the Muslims in other states. We are classed as BIMARU and looked down upon as beggars.
Even though I myself am from a wealthy background, it hurts too see my people in this state.

I dont think you are looked down upon as such but you are poor because you guys have less productivity than others.
As to who to help in other states, thats for that state to decide. Does not your state help poor people.
Can a mallu complain that rajasthan is helping xyz. Thats for you guys to decide, your vote, your govt.

Being Dalit or Being minority is the best thing in India ATM. . . reservations. . . free education. . . heck they give money for the marriages also. . .

Is that true? The only benefit I got was when in school from 5th std they took monthly fee of 5 rupees, then next year 6 and so on until 10th. That was for all girls in govt aided schools in Maharashtra. I do not know what the status is now.

Don't know about that. But I disagree with the reservations. Mainly because it is in the end, getting used up by the upper crust of that community.

But it took decades and decades, a lot of bloodshed to get a semblance of social justice.
