Muslims are not being treated like Son's - in ' laws in Pak either - BD, Bombing, Shia - Sunni, Ahmedis .. and so on.

We believe you when you say partition was good. One does not need to qualify it with troll like comments which would encourage a similar response.

Encouraging the ghettoization of Muslims in India proves the point raised by @Icewolf. This is a reality and unless India redresses such concerns, identical points would continue to be raised.

Most Muslim scholars argue that partition divided the Muslim group into three dividing their strength, a more than 30-40% Muslim population in undivided India would have been a huge force - but then as the article says similar to Yugoslavia or Sudan or any other country, that India would have fallen into sectarianism and instead of one Pakistan and Bangladesh there would have been chaos and lot of Muslim majority parts of India would have started demanding their own pieces of land and we would have been in the throes of terrorism, religious and sectarian violence, civilian unrest and war.

Partition was excellent for India and for the Muslims that migrated to Pakistan but was detrimental to Indian Muslims who lost a major part of their support.

This is a false premise. Muslims who would have been spread all over India and in all likelihood would have remained in minority in almost all of Indian states. In democracy, who gets majority votes win. Muslims would never have won any worthwhile number of seats either in the states or in the lok sabha and would have been losers.

Pakistan is the best thing that happened to Muslims living in Muslim majority areas.

No Sir, it is us as Indians who owe a debt of gratitude to the Honourable Mr Jinnah. Minus his insistence on partition who knows where we would be today. An India mulcted in Hindu - Muslim civil wars. A poor impoverished India which would be written off as a failed state globally due to domestic stagnation. In all probabilities a large part of north India occupied by western forces after the invasion of Afghanistan. Thank you Mr Jinnah for saving our dignity. From a grateful Hindu and a grateful Indian. It was Sad what happened during partition with millions of peoples from both countries. It was not needed by any individual/community/country but unfortunately could not be avoided. But that loss of lives in partition saved multliple fold loss of innocent lives in future.

But har Raat ke baad subah hoti hai....har buure haadse ke baad ek naya safar shuru hota hai....

2-3 decades se Pakistan ki haalat dekh aur kuch geene chune gaddar indian muslims ki haramkhori dekh tou Partition boon hi lagta hai.

I am not an anti-muslim by anyway but recently whatever happened in mumbai was by muslims... i dont care whether they are biharis/maharastrians or bangladeshis.one of them fataly injured my friends father who is a harmless senior citizen himself.
