Inappropriate for India to connect terrorism with Pakistan: Chinese media

I didn't really understand that; could you help me and clarify? I would like to address it before going off to sleep.
I mean to say that since Modi needs to show himself hardcore nationalist type leader therefore he often fell to decisions associated with use of power as optics and so do the administration then...I may be wrong..

.
Cause they are afraid of us, that's the ultimate respect and they think nothing of you.

LOL ..... so your marker of "ultimate respect" is to be treated as a pariah.

That means North Korea should rate above you for respect since the whole world is afraid of them.

Modi does not have to prove anything to anybody.

He is the guy who refused to apologize for the Gujarat riots even though that would have been the "sensible" thing to do as a politician.

You must be truly deluded if you think he is compelled to "show" himself as anything other that who he is. He is just about the only person I know in politics who is not afraid to be himself.

Correction. Yogi Adityanath is the second person I know who is like that.

No, not wrong.

In my personal opinion, precisely right.

Exactly what i said "Apology will be considered as weakness"..

And I cannot think of a worse statement than that post made, that '...he refused to apologize for the Gujarat riots...' That is why I gave him that negative rating.

Really sick guy, who keeps coming to PDF again and again under an alias.

How so ? The deed was already done and he was the hero of the masses.

Nothing he said could have altered reality. Apology by a politician is just words that mean nothing. He could have gained a political windfall. He chose to fight it rather than pretend to be somebody he was not.

I am afraid this is where Modi is building Modified people and his constituency...More to that often educated community like expats to whom i deal have some how strong admiration for Modi..Even tough the results of his polices are yet to be seen ..

Apology to the people of his state being CM responsible to protect them even if he was not a direct culprit

LOL.... this is not medieval times.

Today the politician reflect the will of the people, not the man who modifies the will of the people

Apology to the people of his state being CM responsible to protect them even if he was not a direct culprit

They vaste majority of the people of his state did not want his apology. For the rest, the apology would not have mattered either way.

But he would have gained political acceptability and allies by making that apology. It would have been a pure political move. Yet he choose not to make one. Because he is not a "politician", he is a Leader. A man of conviction. A man of principles.

Not too many of him around in this world.

Two things are at the bottom of this:
  1. The growth of a middle class with relatively high standards of disposable income and an enforced command over English, often acquired in the work-place, who have technical training, imagine that their degree confirms that they are educated and search for their identity on the Internet, and swallow large quantities of toxic untruth as a result. They think that is the real picture.
  2. The horrifying corruption of UPA II, where, to keep clinging on to power, Sonia Gandhi abandoned all pretense of morality and allowed her allied parties to play havoc with the public finances. That has led to a Sanghi narrative that they as the RSS-BJP spearhead backed by religious sleazeballs like Asaram Bapu and others, they represent a moral approach to statecraft and add to it pragmatic, result-oriented decision-making as exemplified in Gujarat (a complete myth, but the Sanghi needs to believe in that).
You will find that most of these expats that you perceive as 'educated' are the products of the new colleges and universities, that train their students not for an education, but for an IT, financial services or human resources job (NO manufacturing; good engineers don't get their hands dirty on the shop-floor). So we have this rash of ill-read cartoons rampaging around the Internet polluting every discussion, and you have people like Oscar and Kaptaan frothing at the mouth at their insolence and complete abandonment of reason, reasonable behaviour and civility.

Welcome to the world of the Internet Hindu.

Yes those horrible engineers with multiple degrees and real skills who are the real "uneducated" vs those who studied "arts" and "macaulay history" and acted as sepoys to the british. :cheesy:

What a terrible world this must be for you

Which reminds me, Have you found a Job yet ?

Heh.

Wouldn't you like to know? And you've given yourself away. Bye bye, cock-s*****.

They wont know it.... because they never faced it......West never knew the pain until recently....

Actually, they are facing the enmity of quasi-states. If there was an actual nation-state promoting this on a relentless, sustained basis, they might get a feel of how things are.

Nope, I already know. You are still job hunting because the reality is you have no skill except bluffing.

Seriously it does not make an iota of difference to me.

Modi is just the manifestation of of the will of people like me and millions of others like me.

If not Modi, then somebody else would rise to fulfill the common desire. The only thing that will remain constant is the rising expectations of the Hindus of India.

The real questions is , can you deal with this reality ? or do you still need to "blame" Modi to deflect from this reality ? :coffee:
