Indian govt does not fund even temples in India leave alone trying to fund temples anywhere else in the world. On the contrary Indian govt steals funds from Hindu temples to spend on Churches and Mosques and other social spending. So it is quite a stretch to blame condition of Hindus and Hindu temples in Pakistan on Indian govt. Hindus are mostly a very self reliant group everywhere in the world and whatever temples you see anywhere is built of their own money and effort. Point is they feel reasonably secure in countries where they have expended their effort to build their temples. This factor is missing in Pakistan and the hostile environment makes it an exercise in futility.



On paper Pakistan could state it is anything and also consider itself the most benevolent country in the world for minorities. There is a 180 degree disconnect between paper statements and reality on the ground though which is plainly visible.

Why will we assist Hindus build anything in Pakistan? As Pakistani people you guys should be helping them. At the maximum we can offer them relocation in India which the Indian govt has already done.

A state policy to hire minorities only as toilet cleaners of majority is good enough evidence anywhere in the world. Reminds me of Muslim rule in India when Hindus were supposed to stand with their mouth open to be used as a spitoon by a Muslim. Pakistan has not progressed much from those enlightened times.

Also Pakistan is the only exceptional state in the world where minorities cannot be rich. Every other country manages to escape this distinction.
