What's new

In preparation for war with China, the US military will purchase over 12,000+ JASSM stealth cruise missiles and 1,300+ LRASMs and may increase further

No armies guarantee victories, not the US, not the UK at it prime, and certainly not PLA

Problem is, if the world economy collapse, China will collapsed with it too, that's the dilemma here in case you have not noticed. On the other hand, since COVID, there are increasingly more decoupling and diversifying economy development in the West, not enough to pull China off the major investment category, but enough to shred the dependence on China on several major commodity. And this is going to get more diversify with time goes on, which is bad news for China.

China won't collapse via the economy collapse but will make them dangerous as they won't have anything to lose at that point and they will start wars otherwise they will fall into civil wars hence the elite will use this opportunity for patriotic causes to allow the civilians to fall upon each other

Again, if you ask any Chinese, would they want to drop everything they had in exchange for some arbitary success? What do you think they will say?

If it was the soviet, it's all for motherland, in China? It's all for money........

US Navy can’t keep up with China’s PLA in shipbuilding, service chief says

Who needs to catch up to ship building??

A bulk of PLAN ship are old, and when you do a comparation of USN and PLAN. You will see the following difference.

Fleet Carrier - US -11, China - 0
LHD (Light Carrier) - US -10 - China 3
LPD - US - 12 - China 8
Cruiser - US 22 - China - 7
Destroyer - US -73 (3 Zumwalt Class Destroyer) - China - 40 (30 of those are 052)
LCS/Frigate - US 32 - China - 43
Attack Sub - US - 52 (all nuclear sub) - China -58 (6 Nuclear Sub)
Ballistic Sub - US -14 +4 - China - 12

The US military also has a stockpile of at least 4,000+ Tomahawk cruise missiles.

You see this is why China needs to take Taiwan before 2030. The US is preparing for war with China in the 2030s when all these weapons are in production at scale. That’s everything from B-21, NGAD, Columbia etc, to these weapons.

China needs to move quickly
Those who think US will intervene on behalf Taiwan and go to a head to head war with China are living in fool's paradise.

The maximum US will do as China readies it's invasion fleet would be to bomb and blowup the TSMC fab and that's it.

The problem is, it may be a reach for China to reach parity with the US, a reach but doable, it would be completely impossible to have China getting stronger military-wise on a combine US, Japan, South Korea, Australia and Singaporean force. It's hard for China to catch up with US, it's even harder to have it to overtake everyone combine.

Which bring me to my previous point, it's stupid for China to piss off the Japanese, they should let them stay neutered and depends on US for defence, it's not the best case scenario if China have to face an unrestrained Japan and US combine.
China is the world's strongest industrial power. We're more efficient on utilizing resources and taking advantage of economy of scale. We're also leading in STEM research fields by output. You really want to play the numbers game? Be my guest. Reunification of China is an inevitability, and if Americunts want to destroy its own empire over it, even better.

Japan is a doomed economy where their products are being pushed out of the market by China and South Korea. They ain't gonna be shit in 2 decades.

I agree TS operation encirclement has started with US in SK, Philippines but no direct clash will occur until 2 decades from now in my opinion but now we are in the build cold war era
No. Chinese naval expansion means that China will be unbeatable in the Pacific after about 2028. The balance is shifting in China's favor, so the US has to initiate a war before then.

Well, no, China can't do that too, and China is seriously lacking of ship to the American. Yes, they have a bigger navy, but the most advantage they have is small tonnage corvette and missile boat, it won't work in an open ocean fight. If you just count capital ocean going ship, you have a list like this

A bulk of PLAN ship are old, and when you do a comparation of USN and PLAN. You will see the following difference.

And that's just PLAN heads up with USN. Japan have 2 LHD, and 2 LPD, 36 Destroyer, 20 Frigate, and around 20 Sub. It will take China a long way to make a combine force bigger than US pacific asset + allies.
I just mean if China goes all out and effectively uses its industry it can out produce USA better get working on land transport routes incase of war as you guys will be blockaded. We eastern nations seriously need a military and economic cooperation alliance don't forget 1800s we cant repeat the old mistakes of being peaceful against a militaristic west.

Actaully, the maxium the US will do is to transfer everything we don't need to Taiwan.

In fact, pretty sure if US see no way Taiwan can avoid a war with China, they would start doing so, basically anything from our National Guard Amrouy to Sierra Neveda depot, to Aircraft Regeneration Group to Mothball fleet are open for discussion, as long as they aren't on our active list, they probably will be transferred to Taiwan.

That's what most likely US would do.

Also remember that USA has military all over the world so its spread thin and even now its becoming harder to sustain such a large military.

We must build more thermonuclear weapons and missiles, hide them in the mountains, in the deep sea,

The Chinese here acting like their dozen or so Naval shipyards won’t be destroyed by the US is amusing.
