- The social media which is an effective tool will still reach even the remotest isolated villages to push demented ideologies, that can't be stopped but controlled, again e-policing. Fvck u Zukerberg
- The political class is worried more about votes and less about how he gets them and a sizeable chunk coming from minority overwhelmingly can decide who wins or loses, so appeasement is the only way to win.Left-Right-Center all in the same boat. (might not be rightwingers so they never win) - Wonderful gifts of democracy.
- Non-uniform law structure based on religious beliefs is giving a free pass to many anti-social elements who are now beyond the reach of law.Uniform civil code not happening.
- Too many disenfranchised folks after returning from gulf states in south India are forgetting there secular routes.
- Havala funding from gulf states to setup religious institutions preaching wahabism or most times donations from hard earned money.
- political intervention is not going to happen with such issues as it will be suicide.
These are some basic issues, to ponder on.Only way out of this mess is Uniform civil code and then let the police deal with the rest of the issues. Modi can do this,hopefully.
So far no muslims in Kerala organized massive protests like they did in Chennai or other places in India .
Democracy has both benefits and also weakness.
Muslims are seen as invasive people and this mindset is a problem. The typical Alappuzha/Haripad Travancorean Nairs with some Sakha exposure will consider them as "neecha Jaati" (Neech zaat) and that feudal mindset and lack of interaction with local Muslims along with regular RSS injections makes them biased against Muslims. Muslims can be good and integrated like in most parts of Kerala. Kerala society is not the typical north Indian society. People of all religions, caste, creed and class lives here peacefully. Islamic terrorism (Salaffists/Whahabbists) and Hindu terrorism (RSS/VHP & Chaddi parivar) are the two issues that needs to be addressed although majority of the people including Muslims are tolerant and secular. Irrespective of the religion, the temperament of the people are good. The classic riots and polarization method pioneered by Golwalkar slaves failed here. While, Islamic bigotry and terrorism are issues that are concentrated more in Malappuram and Kasaragode districts. The Emaan and Ibadat of the Muslims there have reached sky high, in fact it touched Moon. They go by what Saudi Arabian Islamic clergies tell and they are going radical which is true. The first casuality is women who now has to wear Shuttlecock burqah and cover hands and legs with leather glouse, because the husbands/fathers/brothers enforces this. According to them, the past generations lived in the land of infidels propagating Shirk and Bidda'th and now from Arabi, they've learned the best Koranic knowledge and are implementing it now. This phase will go down,once the love for Saudia and Arabs and the belief that Arabs and Arabic language are the perfect creation of Allah (As per Malappuram Muamin's) erodes away along with the Gulf money.

FYI ,I am not really from Haripad .I am from Chengannur.

We are a diversified nation .In a nation like that ,every parties must share a part of politics and population.We need Mahatma Gandhi but we also need Bhagat Singh .
Like that in Kerala too much of the IUML caused this issue. So we need BJP and RSS to counter that.
