Why would it be Hindu accent, there are Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, Zoroastrian, atheist Indians as well.......the Indian teaching English in Japan could be anyone of them....

Japanese English and Indian English finally come together, too OP. I will not understand what they are saying.

Indian accent is neutral....so they say, people from other English speaking countries don't find it difficult to understand Indian pronunciation.....whereas, I've seen in different programs in television that a Britisher is finding it difficult to understand American English, Americans making fun of Australian accent etc.

So I must say, the Japanese are in good hands....

Indians and Pakistanis speak English language through the British standard. If you listen closely how they pronounce words, it's in British style English.

For example, when Americans pronounce this word: Schedule

They say it like this: "sked-jyul"

But when Indians pronounce it:
"Shed-yul"
