Are you crazy ? Even the FIR will not have been filed by now. Only preliminary investigation will be conducted. It will all depend on what charges are filed in the FIR. If charges are dropped in the FIR then the case will not even reach the court.

Understand how the law works before commenting on it.

Even if charges are framed in the FIR, a plea bargain can be made and a reduced sentence can be agreed upon if the public prosecutor agrees or if there is political will. The judge will then just approve the plea bargain.
