As I said Safriz, secularism is not about allowing every group to do whatever hey want. What will happen if tomorrow Hindus decide to go slaughter pig right next to a Mosque under the pretext of secularism? Indian government will make sure that something like never happens as well. Thats secular right there. Making sure that everyones religious sensitivities are looked after.

There needs to be a system, mutual respect. If we go by the text book definition of secularism, there will be mayhem in every multi-religious, multi-cultural country of the world.

Beef is not consumed by muslims only, every human being except hundus enjoys tastey and nutient beef.
As far as my knowleg goes, every religion categorises human acts in three different types.

1- Acts which are mandatory and must be performed by its followers, Its usually a very small number and can be counted on fingers.
2- Acts which are prohibited and must never be carried out by its followers this one too is a very small number and can be counted on fingers.
3- Everything in between, eating cow meat falls in this category.

Does your religion tells you each and everything? what does it say about using cell phones?

No our religions doesn't tell us how to lead our life or how to do your day to day activities. Even if it does, not even 0.001% Hindus follows it or knows about it.

As far as I know consuming beef is not compulsory for muslims.

Salman Taseer's just even tried to help blasphemy impacted poor Christian lady and he was shot dead.. The killer became Pakistani celebrity over night.. So please don't claim something that you are not and stop preaching others...
