In hindsight, how did IK's ouster bode for Pakistan?

Most of us were all despondent, frustrated, angry this time last year.

But, thinking back, do you guys think that night's events and events that followed the next 365 days were much needed?

Usually it gets bad before things gets better but in case of Pakistan, it started to get better then the bottom drops.

As said 'things will get worst before it starts to get better', in the longer run, the country will get into the groove, a jumpstart, a leapfrog moment can then be just round the corner.

Real, actual Tabdeeli coming, hopefully, and as quoted.

“No force on earth can stop an idea whose time has come”

@Windjammer said "When you have scumbag Sanaulla as your home and Biloo as the FM, the joke and hopelessness is complete."

Not half as bad as Dollar Dar.

Politically this was probably the best thing to happen to Pakistani people. Hopefully they are more aware of shenanigans of their Army.

However human cost of the horror i.e. Daronomics is massive as well. Economic mishandling of this govt has pushed so many people to brink. They will take years to come back to 2021 level. And bigger problem is, this policy will continue for next 6 months and will wreck whatever is left. Imran will inherit economy in much worse and desperate shape than in his first term.
In what way do you think the economy was mishandled? It was the need of the hour for the bitter pill. Dar had to act and impose lot of restrictions on imports. He had to cut subsidy and impose tax on essentials to raise revenue. I don't think IK would have fared any better in this situation. He was ousted right when the economy was showing distress signal. Mr. Shehbaz Sharif had to take the blame for the worsening economic situation.

Pakistan's only hope is that the entire political system in Pakistan gets abolished and Pakistan somehow goes into IMF receivership for a decade.

One can dream.
