Disagree. Previous dictatorship is no excuse for bad governance. Almost all nations made transition from autocracy to democracy. Army as an institution has become power hungry thanks to leaders like Nawaz, Benazir & Zardari. Nawaz who was himself a padawar of Genaral Zia, how can a leader like him develop democracy in Pakistan. He is after all his father's son (Rohni Father) and what we have is a politicized version of dictatorship.

Imran is no frishta but he is way better than the lot we have who are taking turns in looting this country to its core yet people are happy supporting these goons and thugs. Pakistan could not won a world cup after Imran, that speaks volume about his leadership capabilities and while we all criticize him routinely, why do we forget that Imran is not the one having 5th term in the office. If we really should be criticizing anyone, it should be those who had the privileged of ruling this country many times, yet failed to deliver on anything.

We won lot of world cups without IK.
1971,1982 and 1994 Hockey world cup. Are you know names of captains?

If cricket is all thing then my vote for Ricky Pointing three world cups as he won 3/3 where Ik won 1/3 due to luck.

It is not only Generals but their responsibility is more. There are other power hungry players that can not get PM seat until EP became BD. And Some Generals as General Tika khan rewarded by beneficiaries due to his services for add fuel to fire during his stay in East Pakistan.
These player also played their games by manipulating umpires and now IK is calling umpires to manipulate game in favor of him.
