The guy potentially is the key we all hope sticks our country back together - he must be protected from potential threats in particular extremists. Im pleased he has taken this action. In fact more should be done to protect him

That is exactly my point. The dead leader is of no good. Personally I do not want to see even other leaders die either, it is sad. We already experienced it with Benazir. Killings are not the solution. Because of the situation in Pakistan, all leaders, generals, VIP's and big businessmen should use such technologies to protect themselves. Every time, a leader or officer is killed, Pakistan's image goes down and Pakistan as whole gets weaker. It is the only way to keep the dark forces away.

Well yeah but you need to armor it to protect the passengers from IEDs and attackers spraying it with bullets.

Good, although the Bullet proof, bomb proof Musharraf S-500 is a proven car. Prado is a higher car and may tip over blocking his escape.

There should also be three such cars so he can follow Musharraf's protocol by selecting the car himself at the last minute

The three car thing still happens with the PM motorcade. You usually see three Black mercs in the motorcade.

In addition to that, sometimes there is a 2nd car even with Rehman Malik motorcade, sometimes though.
