Lets discuss the teams, players, news, happenings....
It's not a rivalry but a one way street in favour of India. Congratulations 🎊

From 150 /2 Pakistan Cruising to 185/8, six wickets down in just over 35 runs...what a collapse.

Babar should not have got out after scoring 50.

Drop Shahdab Khan, and play Usama Mir or Abrar Ahmed.

Should have send Shaheen Shah Afridi, earlier as a pinch hitter.

You need a middle-order batsman to support Babar and Rizwan. We can not expect one or two players will always win the match for Pakistan. I am surprised to see Pakistan is not able to play spinner. Usually, South Asian nations should be comfortable in a spin.

.
I told you Pakistan is a rubbish team. Its too soft and is too obsessed with giving a message of 'dosti'.

Cricket team and its management job is to win games not conduct diplomacy. Babar could be a good player, but he is not a match winning captain. He does not have it in him to win.

. .
I still maintain this.

PAKISTAN SHOULD NOT HAVE TRAVELLED TO INDIA.

But such decisions need courage not cowardice. Pakistan under military rule is always a coward nation.

Sad to say but I agree with you guys. The behaviour of Indian fans (if they can be called fans) is truly obnoxious. It doesn't matter whether we win or we lose, but we act in a petty, ungracious manner. That is why I have no more joy in watching Indo-Pak cricket matches any more.

Regards

“Pakistan ka matlab kya, la ilaha ilallahHindustan ka matlab kya, bhaad mein jaye humko kya”.

These were the usual statements back in the day when matches were played in Sharjah!
Don't be unnecessarily apologetic!

Honestly, I havent followed Pak cricket team too much lately so cant comment- but it seems SSA seems to be carrying some injury- he hasnt been himself lately.

Beg to differ on Indian batting, it is fragile, cant be trusted and will be exposed against quality bowling sides as it was against Oz.

Regards
He doesn't really seem to be injured. However, the only common and consistent pattern that I can see in the decline of our players is their marriage. Shaheen, Hassan, Rauf, Shadab etc., were all doing much much better before their marriages and appear to be a poor imitation of their glorious selves ever since they got married respectively.

Moreover, I think Pakistan had a good T20I team but the same players just cannot play good ODI cricket against quality opposition and that about sums it all up.

No Pakistani batsman can play left arm spinner and they all have trouble playing the right arm spinner too.

ICC to review Arthur's 'bilateral series' comment after India vs Pakistan game

ICC's Greg Barclay plays down Arthur's criticism, says, "there's always criticisms from various quarters"

Nagraj Gollapudi

The ICC will review the criticism by Pakistan team director Mickey Arthur that the India vs Pakistan World Cup match on October 14 in Ahmedabad felt more like a "bilateral series" game, though it remains confident that the tournament will be remembered as an "outstanding" one once it's over.

Arthur admitted after his side's seven-wicket loss that with barely any Pakistan presence at the packed Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the team was affected by the partisan crowd. Pakistani fans were conspicuous by their absence at the ground, with no fans having received visas to travel across the border. Only a handful of Pakistani journalists made it in time to cover the match, and a small number of Pakistani-origin fans who are residents/citizens of other countries.

"Look, I'd be lying if I said it did [not affect us]," Arthur said after the match. "It didn't seem like an ICC event, to be brutally honest. It seemed like a bilateral series; it seemed like a BCCI event."

Asked to respond to Arthur's comments, ICC chairman Greg Barclay seemed to downplay them as the kind of criticism that is par for the course at such tournaments. "Every event that we have, there's always criticisms from various quarters," Barclay said in Mumbai, where he was attending the International Olympic Committee Session, which voted for T20 cricket's inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

"Things that perhaps we'll take away and try to work on, try to do better… so this event's only [at] the start. Let's see how the whole thing plays out and we'll go away and we'll review what could change, what we can do better, how we can improve World Cups and the general offering around cricket.

"We will just take it as it plays out, get to the end of the event. I'm satisfied that it will still be an outstanding World Cup."

While the India vs Pakistan contest was watched by a record crowd - both at the ground and globally - the organisers have not yet put out the official attendance.

The Ahmedabad venue is the largest ground in cricket in terms of capacity with over 110,000 seats.

ESPNcricinfo has sent a query to both the ICC and the BCCI, the tournament hosts. There has also been no response from ICC and BCCI to a query on to how many seats were officially put on sale for the marquee contest. When the plan for ticket sales for the tournament was released in late August, the BCCI had said September 3 was slotted solely for the India vs Pakistan game tickets. On October 8, the BCCI announced it was putting a further 14,000 tickets on sale for the match. Three days later, the BCCI put out a post on X (formerly Twitter) announcing that another set of tickets - no numbers revealed - originally meant for its official partners, was being sold.

There have been numerous complaints from fans about the online ticketing system in place and the early part of the tournament - excluding India games and games held in Delhi - has been marked by low attendances.

Pakistan under military rule is always a coward nation.
The military rulers did not suddenly drop in from another plane nor has military rule been an unusual occurence. The present state is the norm in Pakistan and not an exception. The military rulers were born in regular Pakistani families, went to regular Pakistani schools, got selected to PMA or some other academy, spent years training as cadets, then got commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant and progressed through the ranks from Lieutenant to Captain to Major to Lt Col to Col to Brigadier to Maj Gen to Lt Gen to become Chiefs. The values they have came from Pakistani society. So, if Pakistan is a coward nation under their rule, it must be because that cowardice is inherent in Pakistani society since it manifests itself so regularly in the top military leadership.

Pakistani Batting ends with Babar - Rizwan

You get them early, the rest will fall like a pack of cards.

I will agree with some of the members here that Pakistan Pace bowler seem to loose aggression and speed after getting married.
Shaheen is bowling slower on an average than Bumrah
Hasan, Shadab and Rauf are struggling against even average batsmen of Sri Lanka

Pakinstan will beat Bangladesh and Afghanistan, it will have to beat atleast 1 SENA country to have hope of qualifying on Net run rate.
They will have to beat 2 SENA countries to Qualify on their own merit
